Overview: chalet description: Chalet Midland description

Formerly a family-run pension, all bedrooms in Chalet Midland are comfortable, en suite and of a similar standard and aspect. All have satellite TV, are light and airy and most have a balcony. It is an excellent choice for groups because of the similarity of the bedrooms. The living area and two dining rooms have been lovingly refurbished for the 2016/17 season as well as room 1 on the ground floor. The modern dining stube and traditional dining stube seat 12 and 10 respectively. Whilst this means dining has to take place in two groups, they are a popular venue for evening gatherings before the short stroll to all the facilities this outstanding resort has to offer.
Due to local regulations, we are no longer able to offer social skiing by our staff in St Anton. We are able however to offer one day's social skiing in Sonnenkopf (for a small transport fee, subject to demand and weather conditions).

Brimming with traditional Austrian charm but with all the conveniences of a modern resort, St Anton's vast, high altitude ski area and vibrant atmosphere make it truly world class. It's one of the major international destinations that everyone must visit at least once (and is likely to return to frequently thereafter). Two minutes from the train station and less than an hour's drive from Innsbruck airport, it's a conveniently accessible resort. The main village is traffic free and stretches for about 1km - dot...
It's often said that if you learn to ski or snowboard here, you're likely to find any other resort an utter breeze... Just don't do a Bridget Jones (her memorable descent in 'Edge of Reason' took place on one of the more challenging Arlberg runs) and make sure to take advantage of the excellent tuition on offer. Thanks to local legend Hannes Schneider, St Anton opened the first ski school in 1921. The Skischule Arlberg continues to provide excellent tuition today, so beginners are in good hands. There's a nurs...
The après ski here is absolutely legendary: the atmosphere is constantly buzzing and with a night bus running until 3am, you can really make the most of your evening. You'll find about 20 bars offering a variety of scenes, but to experience après ski at its best you can't leave until you've joined the masses and danced on the tables at world-famous Mooserwirt or The Crazy Kangaroo (Krazy Kanguruh). While it's reputation is lively (and the resort lives up to it) there are lots of options if you prefer a more so...

Great location for people who want to experience all this world class resort has to offer, it is practically on top of the village centre, with some of the best bars just down the road - Mooserwirt and The Crazy Kangaroo are a must if you decide on staying here, or staying anywhere else in St Anton for that matter! The piste is also only a very short distance away - with the smaller lift of Fangbahn just a couple of hundred yards away, while the larger lifts of Galzig and Gampen are 500 yards away.
