Chalet Maya is a charming alpine chalet in the mountain village of Argentiere, just up the road from Chamonix. Not only is it stunning, it’s also in a really great location. If you don’t mind a bit of pushing, you can ski back to the chalet along the cross country course, and it’s a short 2 minute drive to get to the lifts at Grands Montets in the morning or a further 10/15 minutes to Le Tour or the Chamonix ski areas of Flegere and Brevent. The living room is a great place to hang out after a day’s hard skiing, with lots of comfy seats and a big wood burner in the middle. We run it catered in the winter with a delicious warming menu and handy in resort driving.
