Location: where is Chalet Les Lanchettes

Chalet Les Lanchettes is located just outside the Prodains hamlet on the edge of Morzine, and is around 1km from the bottom of the Prodains cable car. You can ski back to the door of the chalet throughout most of the season! The chalet is located close to the free navette bus stop, giving easy access to the Prodains cable car and the centre of Morzine.

Chalet Les Lanchettes is a large and spacious chalet, traditional in style, sleeping 10 to 14 guests, with an outdoor hot tub.

Spaciously laid out over three floors, Chalet Les Lanchettes features a comfortable open-plan living and dining area, underfloor heating and a covered outdoor hot tub. The chalet occupies an enviable location close to the foot of the Prodains cable car, which whisks you straight into the heart of the Avoriaz ski area. In good snow cover, you can even ski back to the chalet!

The ground floor of the chalet comprises a spacious living and dining area and three en-suite twin bedrooms. The living area also has a television with DVD player. On the lower ground floor you will find the boot room complete with heated boot-warmers. The first floor is home to two en-suite quad bedrooms, suitable for either families or 4 adults. The hot tub is located on the covered terrace area just outside the main living area.

This chalet is available to book on a short break basis.

Catered bookings

Catered stays include half-board catering. This comprises:

Breakfast; 5 days continental breakfast with hot option; 2 days self-service continental

Daily afternoon tea; including homemade cake or biscuits, fresh baguette and hot drinks

3-course evening meal on 6 evenings*

House wine; bottled red and white wine, during dinner

Children’s high tea; two courses (if required)

Daily light housekeeping

*All catered 7 night holidays will include one full chalet host day off and one additional morning off. Please note any shorter stays (including 3 and 4 night short breaks) will still include a full day off for the chalet host. Self-service continental breakfast and afternoon tea are provided on these days; please note evening meal is not included for the chalet host day off.

Self-catered bookings

Guests will have full access to the chalet kitchen. Cooking equipment and crockery is provided, along with the essentials of oil, salt and pepper. We regret that the kitchens are not equipped with raclette or fondue equipment, however this can usually be hired from local delicatessens.

For self-catered stays, continental breakfast packages and dinner upgrades may be available to purchase as optional extras, subject to availability.

Self-check-in is available for self-catered bookings, after 16:00.


Please Note

Arrival

  • Check-in is from 16:00. Bag storage may be available for early arrivals, please do check with us when booking.
  • Self check-in is available for self-catered bookings.

For catered bookings:

  • If you book flights that will give you a resort arrival time of after 20:30 (under normal travel conditions), you will be offered a light supper of bread, cheese and charcuterie, as opposed to the usual three course meal.
  • If you book flights that will give you a resort arrival time of after 22:00 (you will be offered a light supper as above, but you will also need pay an out of hours ‘meet and greet’ supplement of €50 to be settled into your accommodation.

Departure

  • We ask that you vacate the chalet by 10:00.
  • Bag storage for later departures is sometimes available, please check with us when booking.
  • Please be understanding that arriving guests have exclusive use of the chalet from 16:00 onward. There will be absolutely no access back into the chalet after 15:00; any stored bags must be collected prior to this time.

Important Info:

  • Prices do not include flights or airport transfers.
  • Prices do not include Taxe de Sejour which is the local tourist tax. This is €3 per person per night, and is only applicable to adults (18+).
  • Person per week prices are based on full occupancy of the room. We reserve the right to charge a supplement for under occupancy on a case by case basis.
  • The maximum number of possible guests stated is also the maximum number of individual guests permitted in the chalet for the duration of the stay. Mid week changes of guests will be subject to additional charges, please enquire when booking.
  • Late and out of hours arrivals may be subject to additional charges, see Arrival & Departure.
  • The sole occupancy price stated includes any stated discounts or free places.
  • No additional discounts are applicable to sole occupancy prices, including child discounts.
  • Children under 12 receive a £50 discount on the per person price (not applicable to sole occupancy bookings).
  • Babies and infants staying in parents’ room: £125 each, including cot and high chair.
We update Chalet Les Lanchettes's details often, but facilities do change. e.g. some extras listed by the supplier as "free" or included might only be for the first time you use them, or for one time per party, then charged for further use.
