Le Vieux Chalet is one of the most characteristic chalets! A wonderful charming wooden chalet for the real "chalet feeling"!

Our chalet Le Vieux is a beautifully authentic and romantic chalet with a special story, which even made French television. The chalet was built in 1910 in Gstaad, and in 2001 moved to Les Gets. The chalet boasts of elegant detail and takes you on a journey through its more than 100-year history.

With its extra facilities Le Vieux Chalet is also a very complete chalet: You can warm up around the fireplace, apres-ski in your own home bar or relax in the sauna. This chalet really does our catered chalet formula justice.

The 6 bedrooms in the chalet are completely in style with the rest of the house. Three of the 16 beds are located on the mezzanine and are mainly suitable for children. The chalet is close to the lift and the slopes of Mont Chery Mountain and at the beginning of the village of Les Gets.

What is included?

Included:

  • 7 x overnight;
  • 7 x breakfast;
  • 6 x 3-course dinner;
  • All drinks (excluded strong alcoholic drinks);
  • Bedding;
  • Firewood if a fireplace is present;
  • Sauna use (between 17:00 and 19:00), if present in the catered chalet;
  • Dutch / English speaking chalet staff to prepare breakfast and dinner, home care, information and assistance in arranging ski passes, ski rental and ski school.

  • Strong alcoholic drinks;
  • Lunch;
  • Tourist tax;
  • Snacks on returning home (if desired by booking extra our Comfort Package);

This accommodation only holiday to Chalet Le Vieux in Les Gets, France departs Saturday 18th January 2025, for a 7 night stay on a "catered chalet" board basis. Whilst the resort isn't primarily known for a huge après ski scene, a choice of over 100 shops, bars and restaurants means there's definitely fun to be had after a long day on the slopes. There are several lively bars, and most will stay open until about 2 am. The Irish pub is great for its friendly atmosphere, home-brewed beers, live music and great tapas.
