Chalet Le R has a superb location in Courchevel 1550, just a 5 minute walk from the main Grangettes gondola which takes you directly up to the main hub at Courchevel 1850.

Chalet Le R heralds our first ever foray into Courchevel 1550, which, with its ever increasing number of luxury properties, is hot on the heels of its glitzier big brother, Courchevel 1850. This chalet has a distinct uniqueness about it which we have fallen in love with - its contemporary design, vast open plan living area and breathtaking views wow on every level.

The floor to ceiling windows in the living area make the chalet feel incredibly light and spacious and you will find yourself gazing in wonder at the beauty of the landscape beyond. Wander out onto the vast terrace with a drink and allow yourself to be dazzled by your surroundings.

The main four bedrooms are located on the lower level of the chalet, with three double/twin bedrooms plus a large master bedroom. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and shared WCs. Two further bedrooms are located on the same floor as the wellness area.

The skiing is easily accessible via the Grangettes gondola which is a short walk from the chalet, although we will drive you to the slopes each day if you wish. Courchevel 1550 has a quick and efficient lift system taking you straight up to the main lift hub at 1850 and into the vast Three Valleys ski area. Back at the chalet, take a refreshing dip in the pool, ease away the aches in the hot tub or sauna and sit back in the enormous living room and allow our chalet team to spoil you.

For guests staying in Chalet Le R in Courchevel Village (1550), your Chalet Host/Driver will provide a driver service to take you to and from the lifts, shops and restaurants in 1550 in the morning (08:00 - 10:00) and afternoon (16:30 and 18:30). The service operates each day except on the chef's day off. Chalet Le R may also take advantage of the 1850 driver service while in 1850.

Children are expertly looked after by a qualified private nanny. Our handpicked childcare team are qualified professionals, whose enthusiasm and nurturing abilities are in abundance, so much so that both parents and children often ask to take them home. In our Courchevel chalets, our private nannies look after children from as young as four months, making sure the entire family has a relaxed, fun and memorable vacation. They organize age appropriate activities and can take the older ones to and from ski school, allowing you to spend all day on the slopes. A nutritious lunch is served each day, as well as healthy snacks, with any dietary requirements taken into account and your child’s routine will be strictly adhered to. We can also provide a wide range of equipment for babies and toddlers on request, including nappies and wipes, usually free of charge. And if you’d like to go out in the evening, we can provide babysitting.

Private nanny : All our nannies are fully qualified (CACHE trained or similar) and are carefully selected for their natural ability with children and their nurturing and fun approach. We provide rigorous pre-season training which includes a paediatric first aid course, water safety and spending time with our chefs learning how to prepare nutritious snacks and lunches. Available for five days a week, they ensure your children enjoy a range of activities, whilst adhering to their home routines. They can also take children to, and collect from ski school each day.

Babysitting : Babysitting can be arranged in the evenings and is chargeable by the hour (€20 for the first hour, then €10 per hour until midnight, and €20 per hour thereafter).

Chalet Le R has a superb wellness area, complete with private swimming pool, Jacuzzi and sauna.

Car parking : Parking is available for one car at Chalet Le R.

Lounge : The open plan lounge and dining room has a large flatscreen TV with UK channels, Blu-ray DVD player, Apple TV and surround speakers.

Wireless ADSL : Broadband wi-fi.

We feel that Chalet Le R is most comfortable for a party of eight, however, the chalet can sleep up to 12 as there are two additional bedrooms on the basement level.

Room 1 - Double/Twin : Can be set up as a double or twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom with bath, overhead shower. Separate shared WC. TV with UK channels.

Room 2 - Double/Twin : This room can be set up as a double or twin, has an en-suite shower and separate shared WC. TV with UK channels.

Room 3 - Master bedroom : The master bedroom in this chalet is superbly spacious with doors opening onto a terrace and en-suite bathroom featuring his and hers showers. This room also has a dressing room which is shared with Room 4. TV with UK channels.

Room 4 - Twin : Twin room with an en-suite shower room. Access to this room is through the dressing room which is shared with the master bedroom. The WC for this room is separate and accessed from the hallway outside bedrooms 1, 2 & 3. TV with UK channels.

Room 5 - Twin : This additional twin bedroom has an en-suite shower. Shared separate WC. TV with UK channels.

Room 6 - Double/Twin : A further bedroom on the underground level of the chalet, with en-suite shower and separate, shared WC. TV with UK channels.
