"Nice quiet location for a family ski holiday"

The chalet was fine, it worked very well for us. It was divided into three levels, our group had the top floor, then there was the living room on the middle floor and then the lower floor was occupied by another group. We got on really well with the other guests but it was nice to have that separation, and it would have been even more important had we not got on so well. The children had an attic room, which they loved, but it’s worth noting that there is a rickety staircase to get up there so it’s not suitable for everyone. It’s sort of a small mezzanine room. The host Kate was very nice and her cooking was fine. It was all good, there were homemade cakes and wine at dinner was included. The location was great for us, it was nice being in the quieter part of town, and the walk into town was nicknamed the ‘Narnia’ walk. The weather was very hot while we were there so we spent a lot of time sitting out on the veranda in the sun. We didn’t need it as it was so warm, but for the colder months it would be nice if the chalet had a fireplace.
