In the heart of the old village of Mussillon, Chalet La Vieille Grange is less than a 10 minute walk from Méribel centre and 250m from O'Sullivans bar. There is a free public bus service from the chalets to the slopes which runs regularly throughout the day and takes you to Méribel centre. From here you can access the main lifts and ski school meeting points at the Chaudanne. You can also visit the vast array of shops and restaurants or the Parc Olympique sports centre which includes an indoor ice rink, swimming pool, fitness centre and spa.
Chalet la Vieille Grange, originally a traditional barn, was converted and has been fitted out to a very high standard. The chalet has five bedrooms all with full en-suite facilities; fresh white-tiled bathrooms with heated towel rails, large mirrors and a traditional pine finish. At the top of the chalet is the open plan dining and living area with its high, beamed ceiling, attractive fireplace and comfortable seating. It has a large picture window opening onto a balcony with great views across to the mountainside opposite. Guests staying in this chalet have the advantage of their own sauna to unwind in at the end of the day and electric boot warmers in the ski deposit for that extra bit of comfort at the start. The chalet has a large flat screen TV showing British channels, a DVD player and free Wi-Fi for your enjoyment.

Meribel has a special place in many Brit's hearts – not simply because it’s right in the middle of the biggest ski area on Earth. A resort for long ski days, ski-boot-stomping après and cosy chalets, there’s a great deal to do and ski here, which is why many of us have been coming back for decades.
