We had a very good holiday – I liked the location and the people who ran the chalet were very friendly. It also had a nice family environment which suited us; this is definitely somewhere I’d recommend if you have children. The Chalet Hotel Les Bruyeres is set in a brilliant location in the centre of Alpe d'Huez. Its just a 2 minute walk to the main ski lifts and you can ski to within 100m of the chalet. In traditional chalet style this hotel offers a comfortable lounge and dining room and an added benefit of a large south facing sun terrace to relax and unwind. The popular 'Sphere bar' is situated just below the property making this an ideal location for groups and couples.

With a transfer time of around 2 hours, Alpe d'Huez is very accessible from Grenoble or Chambery airport. Established in 1936, it was the first resort in France to be installed with a fully operational ski lift. The resort lies in the Grandes Rousses Massif domain. "Good family chalet"

We had a very good holiday – I liked the location and the people who ran the chalet were very friendly. It also had a nice family environment which suited us; this is definitely somewhere I’d recommend if you have children. The chalet hotel is close to the ski station and the shops, we ate in for breakfast and dinner and the food was good. If I had to improve one thing, the rooms were a little simple and would have been better if they had a TV and a bit more space.
