Location: where is Chalet Hayley

Located directly on the slopes, it would be difficult to find a better location than Chalet Hayley in Les Menuires. This ski in ski out chalet apartment faces the Bruyeres gondala lift, taking you to the peak above Meribel where you can discover the 160km of sunny slopes that Les Menuires has to offer or head further into the 3 Valleys, the world's largest interconnected ski area. Chalet Hayley is also located next to the ski school meeting point, a five minute walk from the ski hire shop and only two minutes from the village centre with amenities such as bars, restaurants, an ice rink and heated swimming pool.

Overview: chalet description: Chalet Hayley description

In an unbeatable location on the slopes of Les Menuires, Chalet Hayley is one of the five chalet apartments located in the ‘Chalet de Bruyeres' complex. Spread over four levels this rustic and cosy chalet apartment can accommodate 14 people, making it an ideal choice for families and groups of friends.

You'll be able to access Chalet Hayley directly from the slopes via a security coded lift. As you enter the chalet apartment you will find a spacious living room with a satellite TV so you can unwind in the evening in front of the fireplace and your favourite film. There is also an American-style kitchen which is fully equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster and a cafetiere. The open plan dining area is perfect for family dinners and board games. On the sun terrace you will find a hot tub to soak away any aches and pains after your day on the slopes. Chalet Hayley shares a communal terrace with the five chalet-apartments in this building, but there are large trellised panels between each chalet-apartment to giving privacy from the neighbouring apartments. In addition to the Jacuzzi, each terrace also has a large wooden table and adjoining bench.

For added comfort during your stay there is also a washing machine, dryer, boot room with electric warmers and WC.

There are six bedrooms in total in Chalet Hayley, accommodating up to 14 guests. On the first floor you'll find bedrooms one and two, bedroom one contains a double bed (140 x 190cm) and en-suite shower room, WC and balcony. Bedroom two contains two single beds (90 x 190cm) and en-suite shower room, WC and balcony.

Bedroom three is located on the second floor and contains a double bed (140 x 190cm) with en-suite shower room and WC. Bedrooms four and five together form a family suite, consisting of a main twin room with two single beds (90 x 190cm) plus a mezzanine with three single beds (90 x 190cm) which can be accessed via a steep ladder in the lobby area of the suite. The mezzanine level is limited in space and best suited for children under twelve years old. They share a shower room, WC and wardrobe area in the suite's lobby at the foot of the ladder.

The sixth and final bedroom is located on the third floor, which is accessible via a steep staircase. This bedroom contains three single beds (90 x 190cm), and an en-suite shower room and WC.

There is free WI-Fi throughout the chalet, ideal if you need to work, upload photos of your adventures on the slopes or stream your favourite film whilst curling up in front of the fireplace.

Classic Contactless Catering Service

Your chalet will be ready on arrival - beds made, dinner ready and fridges stocked*, wine-cellars replenished, skis and lift passes all booked. But you won't see us. We'll be at the end of the phone, but there will be no contact, unless you need it. You and your family will be safe and looked-after, as we work in the background, providing everything you need.

Our contactless catering service comes with the choice of two pricing options, a fixed menu with food and drink included in the price, and our à la carte option which allows you greater flexibility to eat and drink whatever you desire and the cost of the food is on supplement, at cost price, and depending on what produce you choose to order.

For those looking for a simple packaged chalet price, we are offering an all-inclusive price, which includes rental of the chalet and your food and drink for the week. Included will be breakfast, afternoon tea, a three course dinner on 6 out of 7 nights, plus unlimited wine and some beers. We have prepared a delicious menu for the week, with a mix of ready prepared meals from a local delicatessen and easy to cook dishes or sides. All that will be required from you is to pop a few things in the oven and throw together a few ingredients to make a simple salad, or steam a few vegetables as sides to your main meal.

Perhaps you want the freedom to choose your own menus, or perhaps you'd prefer to eat out more than one evening during the week, or you just love to cook yourself and enjoy the holidays where you have time to do this in a relaxed way. That's where our à la carte contactless catering service comes in. As an alternative to the service detailed above, we will also offer a lower rate, which does not include the food and drink for the week and we will give you the opportunity to order the food and drink of your choice, at the local hypermarket rates, and bill you for this afterwards. Four days before arrival, you will receive a comprehensive provisions list with everything you could possibly need for your holiday. That might be oven-ready meals, or the ingredients you'll need for Bolognaise, Soufflés or Cheese Fondues. Dry goods, dairy, fresh fruit and veg, fresh meat or fish, beers, wines, champagne, whatever, all bought for you and stocked in advance.

Our aim is to provide the safest possible environment for a ski holiday, whilst staying as affordable as possible. The new way to holiday will be by enjoying the facilities, food and beverages but without the staff waiting on you hand and foot. That will keep things safe and affordable. However, for those in search of a little more luxury, we are able to provide drivers, chefs, daily cleaning, ski lessons etc, all of which can be discussed at the time of booking or with our concierge service prior to arrival.

*Please note that for the à la carte option, all food, drink, ski hire and lift passes come at additional costs and are not included in the chalet price. Provisions will be billed at cost price and can be ordered from the list that will be sent out to you, and ski hire and lift passes can be booked in advance with our preferential rates. For our fixed menu option, the price does not include ski hire and lift passes, but it does include breakfast and afternoon tea for 7 days, plus a 3-course dinner with beer and wine for 6 days.

We update Chalet Hayley's details often, but facilities do change. e.g. some extras listed by the supplier as "free" or included might only be for the first time you use them, or for one time per party, then charged for further use. If any specific feature is essential to your holiday, make sure you ask us to confirm the details of it before you book your holiday.

Together with Saint Martin De Belleville and Val Thorens, Les Menuires (say it Lay-Men-Weer) is part of the Vallée des Belleville and is the cheapest base for skiing in the 3 Valleys. This purpose-built resort is more focussed on the practical than the aesthetic. Le Menuires is split into five villages - Preyerand, La Croisette, Les Fontanettes, Reberty and Les Bruyères, all linked by walking paths, ski runs, shuttle buses and lifts. Les Bruyères or Reberty have the sloping roofs and wood-cladding the Al...
The resort has aimed to provide a wide variety for all abilities – and the proof is in the pudding! The opportunities are outstanding for skiers and snowboarders, but you would expect no less considering it is a part of the world's largest ski area. Novices will find five free lifts either end of the resort for getting to grips on gentle little green runs and longer greens such as La Violette at the top of the gondola from La Croisette. With a healthy mix of reds and blue runs covering the vast majori...
End a day of skiing on the large sun terrace in L'Oisans and sit down in the sunshine with a jug of beer. Kick back with a cocktail or shoot some pool in the cosy Piano Bar Le Kube. Sports games can be watched on the TVs at Café Snack. If you ski over to Val Thorens be sure to go for some drinks at the famous Folie Douce. Those looking for some late-night action have 2 night clubs to choose between; Le New Pop in La Croisette or Le Liberty in Les Bruyères - an intimate underground bar with seats fashioned like...

We are just back from a fantastic week in Chalet Hayley Les Menuires, an extended family 50th birthday celebration. I would just like to complement all your staff from the initial booking in the office, all the planning support, and most particularly our chalet hosts. Service throughout has been flawless and friendly, and the chalet couple were the most relaxed and genial hosts as well as awesome cooks! If you have an “Excellent Staff” award at the end of the season we’d like to nominate them! 7 teenagers and 4 adults had the time of our lives, thankyou!
