Overview: chalet description: Chalet Foulon description

Chalet Foulon is a striking blend of modern, alpine-inspired architecture and stunning interior design, creating an incredible setting for guests to enjoy the very best mountain experience

A stunning newly-built four-bedroom residence sleeping up to 8+2. Chalet Foulon is an impressive three-floor chalet situated near the rustic Verbier Village area, where traditional farmhouses occupy the edge of the beautiful sun-drenched plateau.

Unsurprisingly, views from here are spectacular and stretch far across the dramatic valley. Guests can enjoy this peaceful location whilst still only being a stone’s throw from the very heart of the resort - a 10-minute walk from Place Centrale and a 4-minute drive to the ski lifts.

You enter the chalet on the first floor where the entrance hallway leads you through to the elegant open-plan kitchen, living and dining area. This sleek space takes on a soothing neutral colour palette, contrasted with pops of colour thanks to artwork adorning the walls. The dark-toned, statement wood-burning fireplace contrasts the light wood interior with dramatic effect.

Floor-to-ceiling windows ensure the space is filled with light and allow you to soak up the sublime views from every angle, and sliding doors lead out to the spacious balcony with an outdoor table. At night, the village below is lit up, creating a wonderful ambience.

Elegant dinners with friends and family can be shared around the 10-seater dining table, while the crackling fire keeps you cosy and the open kitchen allows for sociable evenings entertaining friends or family. Also on this floor is a guest WC, and access to the garage.

The chalet's impressive spa is located on the ground floor, where the real ‘wow factor’ is provided by the heated indoor/outdoor swimming pool, where you can retreat to for some relaxation and rejuvenation after a day on the slopes. The chalet also boasts an outdoor hot tub which faces the vast and stunning mountainscape.

Also on this floor is the home cinema, with a big screen and comfy seating where you can hunker down together with popcorn and hot chocolates in front of your favourite family movie. The ski and boot room is adjacent to this, fitted with boot warmers and ample storage space for skis, as well as a convenient laundry room.

Located across the hallway are two beautifully finished en-suite double bedrooms, one of which can also be configured as a twin if required. Decorated in a paired back, zen style with large windows, generous storage, desks and tasteful light fixtures, these offer a haven for relaxation and will ensure you are well-rested for busy days exploring the mountain. The other bedroom on this floor is a quad bunk bedroom decorated in cosy alpine patterns and textiles, ideal for children.

Meanwhile, the master bedroom occupies the entire top floor, complete with a dressing room, private balcony and beautiful en-suite bathroom with his n’ hers sinks and a separate shower. Elegant decor and stylish touches like matte black bathroom fixtures create a cool and calming atmosphere, while the sunlight streaming in from all angles softens the edges of the contemporary design.

Established in 1937, posh party town Verbier covers a sunny plateau slap bang in the middle of Switzerland’s 4 valleys – which just happens to be one of Europe’s biggest and best ski areas. The easy-on-the-eye architecture’s a pretty mix of wood and slate, but it’s what you’ll find within some of these walls that’ll blow your socks off… Blending in with dozens of classic chalets and ski hotels, this place has some of the most luxurious lodgings on the planet. Some hotels come with designer suites an...
Besides being famous for its off-piste routes, Verbier’s well groomed slopes are well known as some of the most challenging in the Alps. Although it mainly attracts intermediate, advanced and expert level skiers seeking adventurous off-piste and steeps experience, the 37 local pistes covering 100km provide for all abilities. The resort has three areas specifically for beginners, including the gentle slopes at Les Moulins, which has a children’s area and Les Esserts, with its 120m magic carpet. Those with a b...
Many say Verbier’s après is the main reason to visit – it’s certainly some of the best in the world and if you want to increase the odds of bumping into Prince Harry or Leonardo di Caprio on the dance floor, there’s no better place to party. From a good old pint in a lively pub (we love Nelson’s and Pub Mont Fort) to swanky cocktails with the socialites at Cordee de Alps, the nightlife is wonderfully varied. An absolute legend is the Farinet - with a huge sliding roof, a commanding position over the mai...
