Location: where is Chalet Fontany

Chalet Fontany is located in the centre of Méribel Village, just a few minutes walk from the chairlift Golf to easily reach the area of the 3 valleys. Shops nearby include a bakery, mini market, restaurants and sports shop. A free shuttle to the centre of Méribel operates daily from 7.40 am to 11.30 pm.

Chalet Fontany is one of the most authentic chalets in Meribel Village, located just a few minutes’ walk from the Golf Chairlift. Made of old wood and stone, the facades of this family chalet blend perfectly with the natural environment in which it stands.

With an ‘upside-down’ feel to it, the large open plan living areas are located on the second floor, so they let in lots of light, aided by the large windows which perfectly frame the views towards the other side of the valley. Although open plan, the living area is split into different areas, there is the relaxed seating/lounging area as well as a TV area. A large wood burning fireplace sits proudly in the centre of the room and helps to separate the relaxation areas from the fully equipped modern kitchen and dining space.

The 6 Guestrooms can comfortably accommodate 12 guests. A twin, double and master double are all located on the first floor. On the ground floor you’ll find a twin guestroom and a children’s bunk room. The final guestroom can be found just off the TV room, which has 2 double beds with 2 single beds above it. All bedrooms except the bunk bedroom and the room off the TV room are en-suite.

The outdoor hot tub, indoor sauna or indoor jacuzzi bath all offer welcome relief for those aching bones. For those who prefer to just kick back and relax, there is a TV room separate to the main living area.

What’s included

Your personal chef/host will be on hand to provide everything you may need during your stay, including; Cooked breakfast 5 mornings a week, with continental breakfast served 2 mornings. Afternoon tea, pre-dinner drinks and canapes served 5 days a week. 3-course evening meals served on 5 evenings, with fabulous wines paired with your evening meals. Our concierge service is also available to arrange any extras you may wish, such as ski lessons, restaurant reservations, massages, childcare and much more.

Access to Chalet Fontany is via the ski boot room, on the ground floor. A bunk room, twin/double room and children’s room with TV area also occupy this floor. Wooden stairs lead up to the first floor, where you’ll find 3 good-size double guestrooms, one of which can be converted into a twin room, all with en-suite facilities and balcony access. The open-plan living areas take up the entire second floor, with access to the balcony that leads to the outdoor hot-tub.
