The chalet is a 5 minute chauffeured drive from the main lift hub and center of Méribel. It is approximately 2 minutes walk from the piste and Golf chair which offers quick access to the Altiport, Méribel and Courchevel. For most of the season, it is also possible to ski back to the chalet.
Close to the skiing yet alluringly secluded, this sumptuous chalet enjoys arguably the most sought after position in Méribel Village. With its warm rustic beauty, smoking chimneys and snowy woodpiles, Chalet Foinsbois epitomises alpine charm, but with all the modern luxuries.
Charmingly furnished throughout and with uninterrupted balcony views of the valley, this chalet balances spaciousness with a cosy intimacy that makes returning from the slopes a real pleasure.
With exquisite wood panelling, roaring log fires, art and antiques, each room exudes comfort and style, making it the perfect backdrop for an indulgent yet homely holiday.
The heart of the chalet and perhaps its crowning glory is its spectacular main reception room, which boasts a grand central fireplace, enchanting library, cosy sitting room, TV corner and relaxed dining area. Additionally, with its sauna, games room, gym, cinema and access to a traditional stone-clad hot tub, the lower ground floor offers the perfect sanctuary from the snow.

The cuisine offered is a huge part of what sets our holiday apart. Eating has always been a memorable experience, akin to eating in a top quality restaurant. And we are proud that, in a recent competition run by The Times newspaper in which scores of excellent companies were nominated by the public, and won the Times Chalet Chef 2010 award. So our food has been independently rated as the best cooking in the Alps. Beautiful cuisine deserves only the finest wine, which is why our wine list is composed by the acclaimed Master of Wine and owner of Savage Selection wines, Mark Savage. Mark brings interesting, small production wines to the table, all deeply characteristic of their origin and beautiful paired with our food. What better way to end a fantastic day on the slopes?
What To Expect
Setting yourself up for a great day on the slopes and rewarding yourself afterwards are some of the best elements of a skiing holiday. You'll start your day with a beautifully presented breakfast of fruit juices, fresh coffees, teas, yoghurts, cereals, porridge, eggs, jambon cru, cheeses, fresh fruit salad, fresh bread and freshly baked croissants and jams. After your day on the slopes, homemade cakes and biscuits await you in the sitting room. Dinner is the pièce de résistance. Before your meal, canapés and champagne allow you to unwind in true style. You're then treated to an exceptional four-course meal, rounded off with freshly ground coffee, a digestif and homemade truffles.
We're more than happy to tailor your meals to your dietary preferences. A range of teas, coffees and fresh fruit are available at any time along with a complimentary bar of champagne, wine, spirits, beer and mixers.
During dinner, you will be served – at the chef’s discretion – a selection of wines from our cellar (a different red and white each evening).

•3 Valleys ski area •Excellent ski schools •Lively après ski
Meribel has a special place in many Brit's hearts – not simply because it’s right in the middle of the biggest ski area on Earth. A resort for long ski days, ski-boot-stomping après and cosy chalets, there’s a great deal to do and ski here, which is why many of us have been coming back for decades.
