Overview: chalet description: Chalet Faucon description

NB: This is a "family" chalet, so all bookings must include at least one child or teenager.

An impressive new ski-in-ski-out chalet which has been designed to our specifications and offers high quality family focussed accommodation right beside the slopes in a stunning Les 3 Vallées location. All families are accommodated in family suites (whereby parents and children have their own rooms behind one door) and you will enjoy facilities including a cinema room, playroom, hot tub and two lounge areas. This chalet is fabulous for families keen to be based in this world class ski area.

Chalet Faucon, like its neighbour Chalet Aigle, has been designed to our specification. This is a superb ski in ski out 3 Valleys family chalet with excellent facilities. All bedrooms are en-suite and offer flexible accommodation for groups of up to 17. You can also book as an individual family.

With a hot tub on the terrace, a purpose built cinema complete with Wii U, and a dedicated playroom you won’t struggle to entertain the family when you get back from your day on the slopes. Add our in-chalet childcare service and high quality home cooked meals from your chalet chef and you have everything you need for the perfect family skiing holiday.

This is a genuine ski in ski out property. From the chalet you can ski down to a choice of quick chairlifts. Alternatively walk up into the centre of Les Bruyeres and take a fast cable car with instant access to Les Menuires, Meribel and Val Thorens.

Our childcare services take place in the ski chalet you stay in, not a large impersonal crèche.

All of our chalets have their own dedicated playrooms.

Our professional carers are a mix of qualified nannies, teachers and nurses supported by experienced assistants. All are recruited by us in the UK.

Monty and all of our childcare professionals are enhanced CRB (now DBS) and reference checked and hold a first aid qualification.

This package holiday to Chalet Faucon in Les Menuires, France departs Saturday 28th December 2024, for a 7 night stay on a "catered chalet" board basis. A local tourist tax (Taxe de Sejour or Kurtaxe) is levied by many councils in European ski resorts. It varies by standard and type of accommodation and is age dependent, so not everyone is charged. It's not included in the basic price of your holiday and is usually paid locally. For reference, the average charged in winter 2024 was between €1 and €3 per person, per night.

Together with Saint Martin De Belleville and Val Thorens, Les Menuires (say it Lay-Men-Weer) is part of the Vallée des Belleville and is the cheapest base for skiing in the 3 Valleys. This purpose-built resort is more focussed on the practical than the aesthetic. Le Menuires is split into five villages - Preyerand, La Croisette, Les Fontanettes, Reberty and Les Bruyères, all linked by walking paths, ski runs, shuttle buses and lifts. Les Bruyères or Reberty have the sloping roofs and wood-cladding the Al...
The resort has aimed to provide a wide variety for all abilities – and the proof is in the pudding! The opportunities are outstanding for skiers and snowboarders, but you would expect no less considering it is a part of the world's largest ski area. Novices will find five free lifts either end of the resort for getting to grips on gentle little green runs and longer greens such as La Violette at the top of the gondola from La Croisette. With a healthy mix of reds and blue runs covering the vast majori...
End a day of skiing on the large sun terrace in L'Oisans and sit down in the sunshine with a jug of beer. Kick back with a cocktail or shoot some pool in the cosy Piano Bar Le Kube. Sports games can be watched on the TVs at Café Snack. If you ski over to Val Thorens be sure to go for some drinks at the famous Folie Douce. Those looking for some late-night action have 2 night clubs to choose between; Le New Pop in La Croisette or Le Liberty in Les Bruyères - an intimate underground bar with seats fashioned like...
