Location: where is Chalet Elliot East

Chalet Elliot East is located in the charming resort of La Tania, which sits between Meribel and Courchevel as part of the vast Three Valleys ski area. The village itself sits inside the tree-line, its snow-topped pines making this a picture postcard resort, and thanks to its small size, it is incredibly convenient, so you're never far from the slopes or the shops, bars and restaurants at the centre of the village. The chalet itself is set on the peaceful Route du Plan du Saz, just 200 metres from the piste and lift, although for more experienced skiers, it is possible to ski straight back to the chalet off piste through the trees. The main village is only a five minute walk away, so if you're thinking of venturing out for dinner in the evening, you don't have far to go.

Overview: chalet description: Chalet Elliot East description

Entrance is on the ground floor where you will find a boot room fitted with heated boot driers, to ensure your ski boots are warm and dry before you hit the slopes. On the same floor, there are three twin bedrooms (80cm) each with an en-suite shower room and WC. The fourth twin bedroom (80cm) with an en-suite shower room and WC can be found on the first floor. There is also a spacious living room with a cosy wood burner and satellite TV, open plan dining area and fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster and cafetière, so you'll have everything you need to make your delicious family dinners.

There are three other chalets (Chalet Lea, Chalet Elliot West and Chalet Morgane) situated on the same road, making this a perfect option for groups of friends and families. Chalet Elliot East and Chalet Elliot West are semi-detached, but there is a connecting door between them, that can be unlocked for large groups that wish to spend their holidays together.

Classic Contactless Catering Service

Your chalet will be ready on arrival - beds made, dinner ready and fridges stocked*, wine-cellars replenished, skis and lift passes all booked. But you won't see us. We'll be at the end of the phone, but there will be no contact, unless you need it. You and your family will be safe and looked-after, as we work in the background, providing everything you need.

Our contactless catering service comes with the choice of two pricing options, a fixed menu with food and drink included in the price, and our à la carte option which allows you greater flexibility to eat and drink whatever you desire and the cost of the food is on supplement, at cost price, and depending on what produce you choose to order.

For those looking for a simple packaged chalet price, we are offering an all-inclusive price, which includes rental of the chalet and your food and drink for the week. Included will be breakfast, afternoon tea, a three course dinner on 6 out of 7 nights, plus unlimited wine and some beers. We have prepared a delicious menu for the week, with a mix of ready prepared meals from a local delicatessen and easy to cook dishes or sides. All that will be required from you is to pop a few things in the oven and throw together a few ingredients to make a simple salad, or steam a few vegetables as sides to your main meal.

Perhaps you want the freedom to choose your own menus, or perhaps you'd prefer to eat out more than one evening during the week, or you just love to cook yourself and enjoy the holidays where you have time to do this in a relaxed way. That's where our à la carte contactless catering service comes in. As an alternative to the service detailed above, we will also offer a lower rate, which does not include the food and drink for the week and we will give you the opportunity to order the food and drink of your choice, at the local hypermarket rates, and bill you for this afterwards. Four days before arrival, you will receive a comprehensive provisions list with everything you could possibly need for your holiday. That might be oven-ready meals, or the ingredients you'll need for Bolognaise, Soufflés or Cheese Fondues. Dry goods, dairy, fresh fruit and veg, fresh meat or fish, beers, wines, champagne, whatever, all bought for you and stocked in advance.

Our aim is to provide the safest possible environment for a ski holiday, whilst staying as affordable as possible. The new way to holiday will be by enjoying the facilities, food and beverages but without the staff waiting on you hand and foot. That will keep things safe and affordable. However, for those in search of a little more luxury, we are able to provide drivers, chefs, daily cleaning, ski lessons etc, all of which can be discussed at the time of booking or with our concierge service prior to arrival.

*Please note that for the à la carte option, all food, drink, ski hire and lift passes come at additional costs and are not included in the chalet price. Provisions will be billed at cost price and can be ordered from the list that will be sent out to you, and ski hire and lift passes can be booked in advance with our preferential rates. For our fixed menu option, the price does not include ski hire and lift passes, but it does include breakfast and afternoon tea for 7 days, plus a 3-course dinner with beer and wine for 6 days.

We update Chalet Elliot East's details often, but facilities do change. e.g. some extras listed by the supplier as "free" or included might only be for the first time you use them, or for one time per party, then charged for further use. If any specific feature is essential to your holiday, make sure you ask us to confirm the details of it before you book your holiday.

Nestled in the forests between Courchevel and Meribel offering excellent access to both resorts, La Tania is known as the Three Valleys' best-kept secret. Proud to be eco-friendly, the resort facilities are powered by a hydro-electric system and has a car-free centre. Despite its modernity, the village has been designed in-keeping with traditional wooden Savoyard architecture, integrated amongst the beautiful forest scenery. The local businesses are mostly Brit-owned, but visitors can still find very French si...

You can make your way over to Courchevel and Meribel on skis alone. There is a wide range of ski and snowboard schools offering group and private lessons for all ages. There are gentle green runs for novices from the top of the gondola all the way back down to the centre. The blue run ‘Folyères’ on the other side of the lifts is a great place to de...
After a day on the slopes, La Tania is a peaceful base to unwind in. The atmosphere is mostly quiet and relaxed, but some après fun can be found. "Really good quality chalet."

Ian
5/ out of 5
The quality of the chalet was really good and it had a nice rustic vibe. It really felt like you were in the Alps as it’s all made of wood. It felt really comfortable and there was plenty of room and seating with a kitchen plenty big enough for several people to be in there. Bedrooms were slightly small but they were comfortable and the room on the main floor was well soundproofed from the lounge. Most rooms had showers and one had a bath, which was handy. We used hot tub which was a nice little feature. The boot room was great, everything worked and it dried boots out well. There were plenty of places to hang clothes etc. too. The rep was really good – we didn’t see much of him but he was always contactable, but there were no issues. The transfers worked really well too and the driver was helpful and fine about stopping at a supermarket. Self-catered basis. The location was really good. We knew La Tania and this chalet is in an ideal location for us, really handy for everything, just 2 minutes from the slopes and easy access to the village too. It’s central in the chalet area of the village but isn’t overlooked. You can ski right back to the chalet, slightly off-piste. We recommend doing ‘Escapade In a Day’, which is a tour of the 3 Valleys, but you do need to be a good, fast skier. There are a couple of nice pizza restaurants in the village and La Taiga Bar is worth a visit too.
