Fantastic weather. Snow held up well . Chalet well positioned and chalet hosts (Lucy and Charlotte ) superb. Room (5) absolutely tiny however - difficult to fit 2 humans and 2 bags in at the same time. Perhaps market to South American pygmies. Certainly no chance of giving the cat a swing. Would use the chalet ... + more

Location: where is Chalet Du Bois

A completely unique position on the piste, next to the lifts and a 2 minute walk across the nursery slopes to the village centre

Overview: chalet description: Chalet Du Bois description

Chalet du Bois is situated on the nursery slopes in the centre of Morzine. The design brief was very simple: ‘a picture postcard, chocolate box mountain retreat’. We sought to fuse traditional Alpine decor with contemporary design; and so to the original timber panelled  walls, log stove and weathered oak floors, has been added a cool veneer that includes smart en suite bathrooms and wide-screen home cinema. The staple diet of the modern day skier has not been forgotten, with a basement sauna for apres-ski relaxation and an outside hot tub into which you can tumble from the piste. The chalet also has a large family suite with private lounge; perfect for a little privacy and seclusion.

Meals: Chalet Du Bois food & drink

Our Executive Chef is passionate about food and hugely sensitive to the appetite of a hungry skier whilst considering a balanced diet. The new and refined menus are heavy enough to reward mountain exertion yet light and simple enough to leave you grinning not groaning.

All our holidays include;

  • Continental breakfast with a cooked option on 6 mornings
  • Afternoon tea will be left in the chalet for you to help yourself to freshly made cake or biscuits, bread & jams, selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate
  • Canapés on the first and last evening
  • 3 course evening meal (6 nights) followed by cheese board and coffee
  • A choice of red and white wine is served throughout dinner
We update Chalet Du Bois's details often, but facilities do change. e.g. some extras listed by the supplier as "free" or included might only be for the first time you use them, or for one time per party, then charged for further use. If any specific feature is essential to your holiday, make sure you ask us to confirm the details of it before you book your holiday.

We had a fantastic holiday. We were beautifully looked after by Charlotte and Lucy who coped very well with our wide range of queries. We loved having our tea delivered in the morning and having four meals a day (breakfast, tea, children's supper and dinner) cooked and cleared up. Our noisy children were tolerated with charm. The skiing was lovely and there was plenty of variety to suit all ranges of abilities. It was wonderful to be able to ski to the door and the chalet could not have been better located. At the end of the day we sat in the hot tub or went tobogganing. Morzine was very pretty and we had an excellent night out on the town.
