Place Centrale - 5-minute drive
Chalet Deux Riés is a sensational blend of traditional alpine-inspired architecture and stunning interior design, located in a prime location only moments from the piste and lifts linking you to the main ski area.
Sleeping 10 guests, this beautiful alpine home is the perfect base for the winter holiday with your family and friends.
Situated just a short walk from both the Les Esserts and Le Rouge pistes and ski lifts, and a five-minute drive from the centre of town, you are ideally located to explore both the slopes and the village.
The living and dining areas have been beautifully decorated in warm tones, with traditional influences and vintage furnishings that create a lovely welcoming atmosphere. Alpine materials are sensitively combined with sophisticated design, creating a wonderful ambience in which to relax and entertain after skiing. The living room is bathed in warm light thanks to french doors leading to the terrace, and there is plenty of space for the whole family to enjoy.
When dusk settles, sink into the sumptuous sofas in front of the roaring fire and enjoy a glass of champagne before dinner. The grand dining table which can comfortably seat 12 people, is the perfect setting for dinners with your loved ones. With Sonos throughout the property, you can set the perfect mood whatever the occasion. The well-equipped, open-plan kitchen adjoins the dining area - ideal for preparing evening meals.
Outside, a large table seats 10 for dining al fresco and there are two sun loungers for soaking up the bluebird day sun rays. Around the corner, you'll find a firepit surrounded by plenty of seating with a large barbecue and outdoor lighting, perfect for apres ski and evenings regaling tales from the mountain.
The chalet is cleverly designed with many semi-levels creating even more spaciousness. Leaving the living area, you can move up a level to find the first stylish twin/double bedroom with a desk area, TV, generous storage space and a bright bathroom with a separate shower.
Up a small flight of stairs is the master suite, which occupies its own closed-off mezzanine floor above the living area. With a private balcony offering fantastic views to accompany your morning coffee, a TV, a separate dressing room and a large en suite with a bathtub, separate shower and his n’ hers sinks - it is a beautiful space to unwind in. The bed can also be configured as a twin if desired.
Heading down one level from the living floor is a further double bedroom with an en suite shower room and a small staircase leading to the vast study. This is a truly impressive room, decorated in a beautiful traditional style with leather, wood and dark hues. The round table here could play host to atmospheric candle-lit games nights with friends and a post-dinner digestif in hand. There is also a guest WC on this floor.
Another level down sits the wonderful entertainment and relaxation floor. To your left is a large cinema room where plenty of comfortable seating faces the huge wall-to-wall screen, whilst an overhead projector and surround sound offer an amazing viewing experience for movie nights. There is a fully-equipped bar area so that snacks and drinks are easily accessible!
Around the corner is the serene spa, boasting a hammam, sauna, shower room and relaxation area with Sonos to set a calming mood. Adjoining is the large indoor hot tub, sat next to a wood burner and a panoramic window with sweeping views across the distant mountain tops. With a door to access an outdoor area too, this is a haven for relaxation and peace & quiet after an active day’s skiing.
Also on this floor is the convenient ‘self contained’ apartment - which sits in the main house but can be closed off and has its own entrance. Equipped with a full kitchen, living area with TV, terrace access, one double bedroom with an en suite shower room and one twin/double with an en suite bathroom, it is ideal for extended family or guests.
On the way down to the spacious garage, you’ll find the private laundry room and wine cave to your left. Then, on the bottom floor of the chalet is the indoor garage for two cars, and plenty of storage space for skis, boots and winter jackets. An elevator conveniently connects this level with the entertainment floor and the living floor.
