The rooms were lovely and our hosts always arranged the kids' cuddly toys into lovely scenes for our return back to the chalet (monkey was reading!!). They were very accommodating and made endless pancakes on Shrove Tuesday for everyone. Really easy walk to the Nasserhein lift and Spa was only 10 minutes away (... + more

Great holiday, I actually stayed in this same chalet ten years ago. They’ve totally rejigged the place since then but it’s still a very good chalet. The two young lads who looked after us did a very good job and produced some brilliant food. Everything was great, you’ve got everything you need really, like a... + more

Our holiday here was one of the best we've had. It was ideal for the size of our party (an all-male group of 14). The two guys looking after us did a good job and the food was very good. The location was pretty good; we found a place called the Keller Bar which was to our liking, just across the road. The nea... + more

*In certain locations, a twin is commonly accepted as referring to two separate mattresses and duvets contained in one large frame. Most hotels have rooms that will take an extra bed if required. These extra beds may be bunk beds, fold-away beds or sofa beds, but the suitability of these beds may depend on each individual. Where an extra bed is added this may limit the space available. Rooms with extra beds are still bookable for two person occupancy although, in this case, the hotelier may allocate a standard-sized twin bedded room without extra beds. Single rooms do not always match up either in size or facilities to twin bedded rooms, even when a supplement is paid.

Brimming with traditional Austrian charm but with all the conveniences of a modern resort, St Anton's vast, high altitude ski area and vibrant atmosphere make it truly world class. It's one of the major international destinations that everyone must visit at least once (and is likely to return to frequently thereafter). Two minutes from the train station and less than an hour's drive from Innsbruck airport, it's a conveniently accessible resort. The main village is traffic free and stretches for about 1km - dot...
It's often said that if you learn to ski or snowboard here, you're likely to find any other resort an utter breeze... Just don't do a Bridget Jones (her memorable descent in 'Edge of Reason' took place on one of the more challenging Arlberg runs) and make sure to take advantage of the excellent tuition on offer. Thanks to local legend Hannes Schneider, St Anton opened the first ski school in 1921. The Skischule Arlberg continues to provide excellent tuition today, so beginners are in good hands. There's a nurs...
The après ski here is absolutely legendary: the atmosphere is constantly buzzing and with a night bus running until 3am, you can really make the most of your evening. You'll find about 20 bars offering a variety of scenes, but to experience après ski at its best you can't leave until you've joined the masses and danced on the tables at world-famous Mooserwirt or The Crazy Kangaroo (Krazy Kanguruh). While it's reputation is lively (and the resort lives up to it) there are lots of options if you prefer a more so...

Great holiday, I actually stayed in this same chalet ten years ago. They’ve totally rejigged the place since then but it’s still a very good chalet. The two young lads who looked after us did a very good job and produced some brilliant food. Everything was great, you’ve got everything you need really, like a warm and secure boot room to keep your boots nice and dry. Ten years ago it was quite a way from the main lift and you had to either walk or ski across the field; now they’ve put in a new lift and it’s just around the corner!

Our holiday here was one of the best we've had. It was ideal for the size of our party (an all-male group of 14). The two guys looking after us did a good job and the food was very good. The location was pretty good; we found a place called the Keller Bar which was to our liking, just across the road. The nearest gondola was easy to get to (with the snow we had it was pretty much ski in, ski out) and the other Galzig gondola was also easy enough to get to.
