Location: where is Chalet Carmen

Best spot in town - The “Opera Chalets” are in a perfect position in Tignes Le Lac just 140 metres (approx.) from the slopes, and intermediate skiers and above can ski back to the chalet at the end of the day. In the mornings it is only 400 metres (approx.) from the Chaudanne and Paquis lifts. The centre of Tignes Le Lac and its bars and nightlife are approximately 5 minutes’ walk away making this a superb choice for your holiday.

Ideally positioned in the Almes area in Tignes Le Lac, this recently constructed chalet apartment perfectly represents the traditional yet modern Savoyard style.

High-quality fittings- The attractive living room can comfortably seat up to 6 people, Smart TV and access to a balcony. The fully equipped open-plan kitchen-diner has excellent appliances that will allow the preparing of great dinners for lovely evenings around the dining table complete with 6 seating chairs. All bedrooms in the chalet are en suite and have their own hairdryers.

Added touches - The “Opera Chalets” share an entrance lobby that has communal ski lockers, the luxury of heated boot dryers and a lift to each chalet apartment entrance. Chalet Carmen has its own sauna and free WiFi is included.

Traditionally trendy The use of exposed wood mixed together with tasteful décor and high standard facilities provide a lovely modern alpine atmosphere. The living areas and the bedrooms have plenty of natural light thanks to airy windows and contribute to make the chalet the perfect secure accommodation for recharging after a day on the slopes.

Flexibility- The chalet offers great flexibility as there is a double sofa bed in the living area meaning the chalet can sleep up to 8 people; perfect for families where the children do not eat with the main group.

The kitchen/dinner area is equipped with a full-size oven, four burner halogen hob, full-size fridge with small freezer drawer, large dishwasher, microwave, tea & coffee station, dining table and 6 dining chairs.

The open-plan living/dining area has 1 x three seater sofa and 1 x double sofa bed that can sleep up to 2 people, a smart TV and access to a balcony. Sauna and communal WC.

Extra Information

All rooms can be configured either as twin or king-sized beds, and we will make them up as twins unless we are advised otherwise. Chalet maximum occupancies are based on adults and children. Additional infants above the maximum occupancy may potentially be accommodated, however this may reduce space and we cannot guarantee the suitability of Independent Chalets for infants. Cots and highchairs are not provided as standard and must be requested prior to travel.

Owing its snow-reliability to the Grande Motte glacier, the local ski area is joined with Val d’Isere’s to form the mammoth Espace Killy - intermediates will have a whale of a time here.
