Location: where is Chalet Campanula

Prime spot– Plagne Soleil. This chalet apartment sits in a sunny position in the heart of peaceful Plagne Soleil and is perfectly located for access to the incredible skiing of Paradiski. Situated just 200 metres (approx.) from the piste, you can access the nearest lift ‘La Bergerie’ from a 500 metre (approx.) ski down one of two blue runs. This means you can start your day with a ski run rather than a chairlift! Plus, ski back to the chalet building on one of these blue runs offering convenient ski-in access. Within 300 metres (approx.) of the chalet is a small selection of shops, bars and restaurants. Plagne Soleil, so-named because it is the last part of the resort to see the sun at the end of the day, is one of the highest villages in La Plagne at 2050 metres. Staying here offers a great alternative to the larger villages. Here you can relax in peaceful semi seclusion and enjoy a laid back holiday with top-notch ski access.

In the French Alps' Savoie region, La Plagne was established in the early sixties and now consists of 11 villages: 7 purpose built villages and 4 traditional villages. The aptly named Plagne Centre at the heart of the resort is the main hub of shops, restaurants and après ski. Just underneath lies Plagne 1800, a cluster of chalets spread across a steep hillside. Higher up are Aime-la-Plagne, Plagne-Soleil and Plagne-Villages, all accessible via chairlifts from Plagne Centre. Plagne Bellecote rests over a l...
There are plenty of nursery slopes with access to free beginner lifts and a wide choice of different ski schools for those new to skiing. The slopes around the Belle Plagne area are particularly suitable for beginners. The blue run linking Les Bauches to Montchavin provides a manageable step up in difficulty from the nursery slopes. For those who class themselves as intermediate skiers, La Plagne is paradise. 77% of the runs are graded either blue or red. Particular favourites are the run from La Grand Roch...
It might not rival Val d'sere or Verbier for their wild party scenes, but this is an exceptional resort for unique après ski opportunities. Try snowmobiling at night, ice climbing in Champagny, husky sledding, paragliding, extreme tobogganing and more! One experience not to be missed is the bobsleigh track, used for Olympic training. There are various ways you can choose to go down it, but they are all guaranteed to give you a thrill as you will hurtle down at speeds ranging from 80 km/hr up to a lightening 120...

"Everything was great. "

We thought the chalet was great, we loved it. It was clean, nice, the rooms were good. We would definitely go there again! We didn’t use the hot tub but other guests did and loved it. The staff were brilliant – friendly, competent and overall very good. The food was lovely. The location of the chalet is great and you can ski in ski out when there is lots of snow, which we were lucky enough to have. There are a lot of stairs up to the exit from the chalet though. It’s not an issue, however. La Plagne is a large ski area with lots of villages, and if it is your first time there, it can be a bit confusing, so it’s worth studying a map before you go there to understand the area.
