Location of Chalet Camarine in Meribel & Mottaret

Chalet Camarine is located in the Mussillon area of Méribel, a popular and pretty hamlet of traditional chalets which sits on the main route into the resort, just a little below the centre. The chalet is a ten minute stroll from the centre of Méribel. To get to the ski slopes, we'd recommend taking the free shuttle bus. There is a bus stop just 50 metres outside the chalet, from there it's just a couple of minutes at most to the base of the lifts. The chalet is also located just a four minute walk from the popular après-ski bars of O'Sullivans and Brewers Den.

Chalet Camarine Summary

The Chalet Camarine is an attractive stand-alone chalet, built in the traditional Savoyard style at the heart of The Three Valleys. With five bedrooms, the chalet sleeps up to 13 guests, making it the perfect choice for a large family or group of friends, looking to enjoy the fabulous resort of Méribel.

Entrance to the chalet is on the ground floor, via the spacious terrace, the perfect spot to take-in the stunning views whilst enjoying an après-ski drink at the end of a long day on the pistes. Upon entering there is a ski and boot store, complete with heated boot drier for keeping your feet dry and toasty warm before hitting the slopes each morning. Once you've hung up your boots and skis, follow the door through to spacious open plan dining and living room. The dining room is bright and airy, with enough space for all the family around the table. In the living room there is a flat screen television, plus a log fireplace, with a charming traditional stone hearth and chimney and comfortable sofas, perfect for relaxing after a tiring day of skiing.

The kitchen is also on the ground floor, just next to the dining room. It is semi-professional and fully equipped with oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster and cafetière, so you'll have everything you need to whip up a feast for all the family.

There are five bedrooms, the first of which has twin beds (90cm x 200cm) and is located on the ground floor, just next to the living room and complete with en-suite bathroom. On the first floor there are three bedrooms all of which en-suite. Two are twin rooms (90cm x 200cm), one has a bathroom, the other a shower room and both with a balcony. The third bedroom on the first floor is a triple room with en-suite bathroom (90cm x 200cm). On the top floor there is a quad room, located under the eaves of the roof, accessible by a very steep stair case, with four twin beds (90cm x 200cm) and an en-suite bathroom. There are televisions in every bedroom.

If you're driving to Méribel, the chalet is easy to find and there is free, open air parking just over the road from the chalet.

FEATURES & FACILITIES

MEALS AT Chalet Camarine, Meribel & Mottaret

Classic Contactless Catering Service

Your chalet will be ready on arrival - beds made, dinner ready and fridges stocked*, wine-cellars replenished, skis and lift passes all booked. But you won't see us. We'll be at the end of the phone, but there will be no contact, unless you need it. You and your family will be safe and looked-after, as we work in the background, providing everything you need.

Our contactless catering service comes with the choice of two pricing options, a fixed menu with food and drink included in the price, and our self catered option which allows you greater flexibility to eat and drink whatever you desire and the cost of the food is on supplement, at cost price, and depending on what produce you choose to order.

For those looking for a simple packaged chalet price, we are offering an all-inclusive price, which includes rental of the chalet and your food and drink for the week. Included will be breakfast, afternoon tea, a three course dinner on 6 out of 7 nights, plus unlimited wine and some beers. We have prepared a delicious menu for the week, with a mix of ready prepared meals from a local delicatessen and easy to cook dishes or sides. All that will be required from you is to pop a few things in the oven and throw together a few ingredients to make a simple salad, or steam a few vegetables as sides to your main meal.

Perhaps you want the freedom to choose your own menus, or perhaps you'd prefer to eat out more than one evening during the week, or you just love to cook yourself and enjoy the holidays where you have time to do this in a relaxed way. That's where our self catering service comes in. As an alternative to the service detailed above, we will also offer a lower rate, which does not include the food and drink for the week.

Our aim is to provide the safest possible environment for a ski holiday, whilst staying as affordable as possible. The new way to holiday will be by enjoying the facilities, food and beverages but without the staff waiting on you hand and foot. That will keep things safe and affordable. However, for those in search of a little more luxury, we are able to provide drivers, chefs, daily cleaning, ski lessons etc, all of which can be discussed at the time of booking or with our concierge service prior to arrival.

*Please note that for the self catered option, ski hire and lift passes come at additional costs and are not included in the chalet price. Ski hire and lift passes can be booked in advance with our preferential rates. For our fixed menu option, the price does not include ski hire and lift passes, but it does include breakfast and afternoon tea for 7 days, plus a 3-course dinner with beer and wine for 6 days.

Meribel's location is tricky to beat, slap bang in the centre of the mammoth Three Valleys ski area. British made, and largely Brit run, it's a destination we flock to year after year for a homely atmosphere in a good looking resort with more than enough pistes for a week (or three). It's made up of a huddle of gorgeous hamlets, built in traditional wood and stone and surrounded by thick woodland. The main area is Meribel Centre (usually known just as Meribel). A traditional alpine village with choc-box chale...
Meribel is one of the best ski resorts to learn in. There are three beginner areas known as 'Ski Facile' (easy ski) plus great green pistes to practise on including Le Foret and Altiport. Both runs are carefully planned out so you can practice at your own pace in quiet surroundings. If you're skiing with children, there are fantastic ski schools and child-orientated areas, including animal sculptures scattered around the trees at the 'Pistes des Animaux' where children can learn about local wildlife as they e...
Whether your day on the hill leaves you wanting to relax with a vin chaud, have a pint and play pool, or party the night away, your time off the slopes can be as varied as the day spent cruising the incredible Trois Vallees. It's said that you haven't experienced après ski here (or anywhere for that matter) until you've sampled toffee vodka in Le Rond Point, which is easily one of the most famous après ski bars in the world - complete with a slide down to the toilets! Meribel's rightly famous for its nightl...
