Location: where is Chalet Blanchot

Chalet Blanchot is 150m from the Plan Peisey ski hire and other shops. You can ski back to Chalet Bouc Blanc via a blue run and the Parchey chairlift is just 50m from the chalet. The ski school (ESF), high-speed 6-seater chairlift taking you up to 2100m and Vanoise Express across to la Plagne are 400m away.

These 5 chalets are perfect for familes, because there is a wonderful space outside for adults & children to build snowmen, have snowball fights, make snow angels & go sledging.

Dietary Requirements

We strive to ensure that your specific dietary requirements and preferences are catered for as best we can. Please let us know at least 14 days prior to your holiday start date, to ensure that this is possible. Our team can cater for special dietary requirements be they for medical reasons, religious reasons or simply personal preference. Our chalet hosts will be advised of these requirements in advance of your stay and every effort will be made to ensure that they are met. However, we cannot guarantee that certain ingredients will not be in the environment nor can we guarantee that cross-contamination will not occur.

Children's Food

Children aged 11 and under will be served High Tea at around 6pm. This is provided at no extra cost and ensures that your child's normal routine is not disturbed: soft drinks or milk are served with the meal. It also ensures that adults can enjoy their evening meal, which is served at 8pm. If you have booked a whole chalet then you can eat together - please speak to your chalet hosts on arrival.

The Festive Season

An Alpine chalet is a wonderful place to spend the festive season. We provide Christmas trees and decorations. On the day itself, you can look forward to aperitifs, turkey with all the trimmings, flaming Christmas pudding, mince pies, and of course, Christmas crackers. For New Year most of our resorts will have torch-lit descents, fireworks and other celebrations. Alternatively, you could just enjoy New Year's Eve dinner in your chalet with a glass or two of fizz.

We update Chalet Blanchot's details often, but facilities do change. e.g. some extras listed by the supplier as "free" or included might only be for the first time you use them, or for one time per party, then charged for further use. If any specific feature is essential to your holiday, make sure you ask us to confirm the details of it before you book your holiday.

Les Arcs came to be in 1968 after a group of ski instructors and architects dreamt up a resort with all the perks of a village but a mountainside location. It grew into one of the largest, most incredible ski areas in the Alps. The closest airport is Chambery with a transfer time of a couple of hours, plus transport links from Geneva, Lyon and Grenoble. Present-day Les Arcs consists of four main purpose built villages. The original resort, Arc 1600, was created for doorstep skiing and is linked by a funicular ...
As you'd expect from one of the biggest ski areas on the planet, there's everything from gorgeous tree-lined runs to wild, white-knuckle off-piste. For beginners, each of the 3 main Arcs has 'ski tranquille' zone, and the wide beginner runs leading to the resort have gentle gradients perfect for practising. Local instructors are on hand to show you the ropes, with ski schools based in each of the main villages (1800 has the most). There are magic carpet lifts at 1800 and 2000 - an easy way for newbies to get up ...
If you're looking for a party, Arc 1800 is the place to be. With heaps of watering holes like the Red Hot Saloon (or the 'Red Bar' to use local lingo), Benji's and La Folie Douce. If you're looking for more of a French-style après spot, Ambiente Cafe has a really cool atmosphere and lots of nice cocktails (happy hour usually starts at 4) while Le club 1950 your venue if you're looking to party into the wee hours. Arc 1600's a little quieter but for good music and a scenic terrace check out Les 2 Têtes. In te...

I found James a really professional young lad for somebody his age. He is a very relaxed and skilled cook. I am a serious cook and he shows all the best attributes of a pro cook. Generous with his (extensive) knowledge of skiing and snowboarding and allows the conversation to flow around him in a very relaxed way. His most surprising skill is his ability to listen to his guests and actually be interested! 10/10. Jess is very social and lovely. I am sure I am not the first guest to mention that!! Very, very impressed by both of your staff.

"All in all a super quality holiday!"

The Easter snow was perfect and beautifully pisted and the resort offered everything a family with young skiing children could want. The company’s attitude towards the welfare of their guests was exemplary with all the staff we met being super friendly and professional. Our chalet host, Sam, was superb. Nothing was too much trouble for him. All in all a super quality holiday!
