Overview: chalet description: Chalet Bioley description

An exceptional mountain retreat focused on high-end design, plush furnishings and beautiful vistas

This chalet’s impressive architecture and interior finish, coupled with its elevated position overlooking the mountains, make this property one of Verbier’s finest. This stunning private home sleeps ten adults and three children in five bedrooms. Delight can be found in every detail from its exquisite coffee tables, elegant wicker arm chairs and luxurious sofas, accented with bold flashes of colour, intriguing artefacts and designer light fixtures.

Nestled into the hill and just moments away from the Moulins beginner’s piste, Chalet Bioley is in the heart of Verbier. Its perfectly positioned windows and extensive balconies face south, capturing sunshine and allowing you to soak up the rays all day. Its close proximity from Les Moulins, with its beginner ski runs, nursery and afternoon sledging possibilities, make it ideal for families looking to make the most of their ski holiday in Verbier. For the keen skiers in the group, you can ski back to the bottom of the Le Rouge piste which is a 400m walk from the chalet.

You enter the chalet on the lower ground floor through the ski and bike storage area. A six-person lift runs throughout the property allowing easy access to each floor.

Moving upstairs, to the upper ground floor, you will find three elegantly appointed, individually designed bedrooms and one family suite with a twin/double bedroom as well as a children’s bunk room sleeping three. All of the bedrooms have either an en-suite shower or bathroom and most open out onto the beautiful south-facing terrace. One of the three bedrooms has a 150x200cm double bed. From the terrace you can access the impressive outdoor hot tub and fire pit providing you with your very own après ski experience from the comfort of your chalet. Take in the superb views and allow your hosts to serve champagne whilst you soothe your aching muscles after a hard day on the slopes.

Moving up to the second floor you will find the impressive open plan living and dining area, flooded with natural light and boasting glorious views from the floor to ceiling windows that open out onto the large balcony. This is an ideal space for entertaining and socialising. The living area is cosy, complete with large stone fireplace and enlivened with a contemporary finish including burnt orange, teal and aqua blue hues. A sumptuous L-shaped sofa is the ideal spot to find yourself, on a snowy winter’s evening, warm drink in hand, in front of the roaring fire. With the press of a button, a large flat screen TV is revealed which comes equipped with Apple TV, Netflix and International TV channels. The chalet is fully equipped for sound and is home to a state-of-the-art Bose sound system which can be linked to Bluetooth to stream your own playlists.

Designed with entertaining in mind, you will find a contemporary and ideally positioned bar just next to the living area which is complete with luxurious velvet green stalls and a fabulous seating area. Hosting friends is effortless in this space. The dining table which seats up to 12 people takes a central position in front of the well-equipped, stylish kitchen. Accompanied by the mountain back-drop, it is a perfect for savoring a delicious supper with your friends or family.

The top floor of the chalet is dominated by the incredible master suite. A large super-king size bed looks out towards the impressive peaks in the distance. The stylish seating area also allows you to gaze across the mesmerizing panorama and is the perfect corner for finding some peace and quiet, taking in the view or simply getting lost in a good book. There is a walk-in wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom offers a chic, natural finish. It is complete with his and hers sinks, a large bath and separate shower.

The property provides three indoor parking spaces in the garage to keep a selection of cars secure throughout your stay. The car parking spaces are accessed by a private underground tunnel linked to chalet, affording maximum privacy should you need it. There is also an additional exterior parking space, perfect for visiting guests.

Established in 1937, posh party town Verbier covers a sunny plateau slap bang in the middle of Switzerland’s 4 valleys – which just happens to be one of Europe’s biggest and best ski areas. The easy-on-the-eye architecture’s a pretty mix of wood and slate, but it’s what you’ll find within some of these walls that’ll blow your socks off… Blending in with dozens of classic chalets and ski hotels, this place has some of the most luxurious lodgings on the planet. Some hotels come with designer suites an...
Besides being famous for its off-piste routes, Verbier’s well groomed slopes are well known as some of the most challenging in the Alps. Although it mainly attracts intermediate, advanced and expert level skiers seeking adventurous off-piste and steeps experience, the 37 local pistes covering 100km provide for all abilities. The resort has three areas specifically for beginners, including the gentle slopes at Les Moulins, which has a children’s area and Les Esserts, with its 120m magic carpet. Those with a b...
Many say Verbier’s après is the main reason to visit – it’s certainly some of the best in the world and if you want to increase the odds of bumping into Prince Harry or Leonardo di Caprio on the dance floor, there’s no better place to party. From a good old pint in a lively pub (we love Nelson’s and Pub Mont Fort) to swanky cocktails with the socialites at Cordee de Alps, the nightlife is wonderfully varied. An absolute legend is the Farinet - with a huge sliding roof, a commanding position over the mai...
