Overview: chalet description: Chalet Beriozka description

Chalet Beriozka is a charming stone and wood-finished chalet nestled amongst the trees at the top of the resort. The traditional stand alone chalet has a homely atmosphere and has plenty of space throughout. The lounge is light and spacious with its wooden beams and glass-fronted log burning stove and there's plenty of comfortable seating, creating a warm and welcoming place to relax and unwind. The living area opens onto a secluded private terrace at the rear of the chalet; a quiet outdoor space to enjoy the alpine air. All the bedrooms in the chalet have en-suite facilities; those on the second floor have low wooden beams giving a traditional feel. The chalet is well-equipped for your comfort with electric boot warmers for the start of the day. The chalet has modern accessories such as a large flat screen TV showing British channels, a DVD player for your enjoyment as well as free Wi-Fi internet access.

The Chalet Beriozka hosts live in a self-contained apartment below the chalet.

Rooms 1, 2, 3, and 4 can take a cot. If booking the whole of Chalet Beriozka, an additional child's bed can be put in room 2. For a quote please contact our office. Please note: Room 7 is not bookable for the 2022/23 ski season.

Appetising Canapés & Apéritifs

On arrival in your chalet, handmade pre-dinner canapés and apéritifs will be served to you in the lounge while your experienced chalet host welcomes you to your chalet and introduces you to the resort.

Delicious Cooked Breakfasts

Start your day with a delicious cooked breakfast that includes bacon, eggs, Heinz beans or hash browns and mushrooms or tomatoes plus a selection of cereals, porridge, yogurts and fresh bread. Served 8am to 9am.

Homemade Cakes & Afternoon Tea

Scrumptious homemade cakes and a choice of teas are provided every day, best enjoyed while you relax in the lounge area in front of the log fire.

Hearty Three Course Dinner

Home cooked evening meal served at 8pm with unlimited carefully selected red, white or rosé wine (6 days), with an additional 4th course of local cheese board with port on the Thursday evening. After dinner, fresh ground coffee or decaffeinated coffee as well as tea is served in the lounge.

Dietary Requirements

We strive to ensure that your specific dietary requirements and preferences are catered for as best we can. Please let us know at least 14 days prior to your holiday start date, to ensure that this is possible. Our team can cater for special dietary requirements be they for medical reasons, religious reasons or simply personal preference. Our chalet hosts will be advised of these requirements in advance of your stay and every effort will be made to ensure that they are met. However, we cannot guarantee that certain ingredients will not be in the environment nor can we guarantee that cross-contamination will not occur.

Children's Food

Children aged 11 and under will be served High Tea at around 6pm. This is provided at no extra cost and ensures that your child's normal routine is not disturbed: soft drinks or milk are served with the meal. It also ensures that adults can enjoy their evening meal, which is served at 8pm. If you have booked a whole chalet then you can eat together - please speak to your chalet hosts on arrival.

The Festive Season

An Alpine chalet is a wonderful place to spend the festive season. We provide Christmas trees and decorations. On the day itself, you can look forward to aperitifs, turkey with all the trimmings, flaming Christmas pudding, mince pies, and of course, Christmas crackers. For New Year most of our resorts will have torch-lit descents, fireworks and other celebrations. Alternatively, you could just enjoy New Year's Eve dinner in your chalet with a glass or two of fizz.

We update Chalet Beriozka's details often, but facilities do change. e.g. some extras listed by the supplier as "free" or included might only be for the first time you use them, or for one time per party, then charged for further use. If any specific feature is essential to your holiday, make sure you ask us to confirm the details of it before you book your holiday.

Nestled in the forests between Courchevel and Meribel offering excellent access to both resorts, La Tania is known as the Three Valleys' best-kept secret. Proud to be eco-friendly, the resort facilities are powered by a hydro-electric system and has a car-free centre. Despite its modernity, the village has been designed in-keeping with traditional wooden Savoyard architecture, integrated amongst the beautiful forest scenery. The local businesses are mostly Brit-owned, but visitors can still find very French si...
Long green, blue and red tree-lined slopes overlook the village, and the Three Valleys provides a ginormous amount of opportunities for all different abilities. You can make your way over to Courchevel and Meribel on skis alone. There is a wide range of ski and snowboard schools offering group and private lessons for all ages. There are gentle green runs for novices from the top of the gondola all the way back down to the centre. The blue run ‘Folyères’ on the other side of the lifts is a great place to de...
After a day on the slopes, La Tania is a peaceful base to unwind in. The atmosphere is mostly quiet and relaxed, but some après fun can be found. Le Bouc Blanc is a popular restaurant at the top of the gondola from the village, ideal for relaxing in the sun with a drink on a deckchair. Great value for money, prices are a fraction to those in other places. Pub Le Ski Lodge attracts most of the nightlife, hosting regular live music performances and themed nights. The crowds gather for happy hour, and they air the...
