Overview: chalet description: Chalet Bellaiuva description

The ultimate ski-in/ski-out property

Bellaiuva means `beautiful view’ and this historic chalet certainly lives up to its name.
Located in the exclusive hamlet of Clambin, the chalet nestles in pine forest on the edge of the piste. One of the very few truly ski-in, ski-out properties in Verbier this exquisite home boasts the most incredible mountain scenery.
The chalet is accessed either on skis, skidoo or using the chalets own Polaris Ranger Crew snow machine seating up to six (access times using motorised transport us strictly restricted to certain times of the day).
The beautiful Bellaiuva sleeps up to ten people in five bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities.
Oozing luxury Alpine charm, the spacious, stand-alone chalet upholds its history. During a laborious and meticulous construction over four years, it has been restored with impeccable attention to detail, including reclaimed beams from the original build that were restored in Austria before being returned to Switzerland.
The result is an artisan, architectural masterpiece with an elegant and eclectic interior filled with art works, antiques and object d`art. Oak, walnut and teak are complemented by a contemporary crisp and clean, white finish.
The ground floor comprises the main entrance and the wet room entrance complete with heated boot warms and ingenious clothes drying cupboards. There is a separate toilet and a double bedroom complete with en-suite shower room located on this floor with a small kitchenette and washer and dryer.

An impressive stairway leads to the first floor where the main living, dining and kitchen areas are located.
The open plan kitchen and dining area comfortably seating eight looks out through large windows overlooking the stunning surroundings. From here the sunny terrace can be accessed, offering views of the sparkling slopes by day and enchanting valley lights by night. The terrace provides the perfect setting for sundowners after skiing in the warmer spring months.
In the heart of the living area is an impressive central fireplace. Curling up on the cosy sofa is a sublime spot to find yourself in after a long day on the pistes.
Also on this floor is a double bedroom with en-suite shower room and a children’s bunk room sleeping four, which has a shower room and adjacent guest toilet.
To the rear of the first floor is located the entertainment area with large cinema room sauna and Brazilian slate stream bath.
On the top floor of the property is the splendid master bedroom epitomising modern luxury with a majestic en-suite bathroom complete with his and hers sinks. A further double bedroom with shower room, toilet and private balcony access is also located on this floor.
The upstairs terrace with outdoor hot tub is accessed from this floor. This is the perfect spot to laze away the afternoon after a hard day on the slopes. The top floor is also home to a further double bedroom and en-suite shower room.
Chalet Bellaiuva is the ultimate winter holiday rental with great après ski due to it`s proximity to one of Verbier`s finest restaurants Chez Danny, making it the it ideal home for families and/or groups of friends.

Established in 1937, posh party town Verbier covers a sunny plateau slap bang in the middle of Switzerland’s 4 valleys – which just happens to be one of Europe’s biggest and best ski areas. The easy-on-the-eye architecture’s a pretty mix of wood and slate, but it’s what you’ll find within some of these walls that’ll blow your socks off… Blending in with dozens of classic chalets and ski hotels, this place has some of the most luxurious lodgings on the planet. Some hotels come with designer suites an...
Besides being famous for its off-piste routes, Verbier’s well groomed slopes are well known as some of the most challenging in the Alps. Although it mainly attracts intermediate, advanced and expert level skiers seeking adventurous off-piste and steeps experience, the 37 local pistes covering 100km provide for all abilities. The resort has three areas specifically for beginners, including the gentle slopes at Les Moulins, which has a children’s area and Les Esserts, with its 120m magic carpet. Those with a b...
Many say Verbier’s après is the main reason to visit – it’s certainly some of the best in the world and if you want to increase the odds of bumping into Prince Harry or Leonardo di Caprio on the dance floor, there’s no better place to party. From a good old pint in a lively pub (we love Nelson’s and Pub Mont Fort) to swanky cocktails with the socialites at Cordee de Alps, the nightlife is wonderfully varied. An absolute legend is the Farinet - with a huge sliding roof, a commanding position over the mai...
