The family-run Boutique Hotel Nives is a classy choice that ticks a bunch of boxes. Its handy location in the centre of Selva gives you easy access to both world-class skiing and easy-going après. And the hotel’s snazzy spa and top-notch food mean evenings here are as wow-worthy as days out among the Dolomites.
You’ll be whisked via private shuttle down the road to the Campinoi and Dantercepies gondolas each morning, from which you can explore mile after mile of pristine piste across the Dolomiti Superski area. And you can switch easily from slope to spa come evening, as the Nives blue run takes you just a short walk from the hotel.
Wind down with a spell in the outdoor hot tub, looking up at the mountains and reliving your day. Hit the pool for laid-back laps, and choose from three saunas – or sample them all. Then, head into the hotel’s restaurant Stevia for an evening meal to knock your ski socks off.
Wine’s a pretty big deal here, too – just take a peak at the wine cellar. For an extra cost you can even arrange a wine tasting session with the hotel’s head sommelier. When in Italy, after all.
All rooms are non-smoking and have a flatscreen smart TV with English channels, minibar, fridge, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, telephone, safe and tea and coffee-making facilities.
Junior Suite – sleeps 2-4 (max 3 adults, or max 2 adults and 2 children up to 12 years): Double bedroom with a double sofa bed in the bedroom, private bath, shower and WC, and a balcony.
Cots are available to hire for an extra charge, payable locally.
