Basalte is part of the prestigious new Trois Roc development, housing the W hotel and a new shopping area at the base of the Medran ski lift.
Combining all the elements of a luxurious alpine chalet, along with contemporary touches, Basalte Trois Roc is the last word in exceptional chalet experiences. Exposed wood beams and solid, local stone bathrooms give the apartment a true feel of quality and luxury living. The chalet sleeps eight people across four fabulous bedrooms, with a stunning living area for guests to enjoy. Designed by the architect of the Trois Roc development, the attention to detail is naturally exceptional, allowing guests to simply relax and make the most from their holiday.
The location of the chalet is second to none in the heart of Verbier, just a few steps from the base of the main ski lift and ski run into resort. Place Blanche is a stone's throw away, home to a buzzing apres ski scene, along with cafes, shops and our recommended ski hire outlet. Established in 1937, posh party town Verbier covers a sunny plateau slap bang in the middle of Switzerland’s 4 valleys – which just happens to be one of Europe’s biggest and best ski areas. The easy-on-the-eye architecture’s a pretty mix of wood and slate, but it’s what you’ll find within some of these walls that’ll blow your socks off… Blending in with dozens of classic chalets and ski hotels, this place has some of the most luxurious lodgings on the planet. Some hotels come with designer suites an...

The resort has three areas specifically for beginners, including the gentle slopes at Les Moulins, which has a children’s area and Les Esserts, with its 120m magic carpet. Those with a b...

An absolute legend is the Farinet - with a huge sliding roof, a commanding position over the mai...
