The Banff Park Lodge Resort Hotel and Conference Centre is a full service hotel located in downtown Banff, in the heart of historical Banff National Park. The 211 spacious guestrooms are tastefully decorated and include tea and coffee makers, cable television with pay-per-view movies, clock radio, telephone with data-port and voice mail system, hair dryer, iron & board, individual climate control, and a private balcony. The rooms have two double beds and can accoomodate up to quad occupancy based on sharing existing beds. The hotel offers two excellent restaurants, a cocktail lounge, indoor salt water pool, jacuzzi and steam room, indoor heated parking, shopping area, 24-hour concierge service, valet parking and many other services. The Banff Park Lodge was awarded the 2002 'Four Green Leaf' rating for environmental programs; Canada's first independent hotel to have achieved this.
