· central location · 2-minute walk from the Pradalago lift · 5 minutes' walk to the ski school meeting point
The Alpen Vidi’s got one of the best spots in Madonna di Campiglio – metres from the 3-Tre World Cup slope and close to the resort centre. The lifts are nearby too, but if you don’t fancy walking with your gear you can hop on the ski bus that stops outside the hotel.
After a day on the mountain, take a dip in the pool, warm up in the sauna or soothe your ski muscles with a massage.
When it comes to the décor, it’s all about classic alpine style in the cosy bar and lounge – picture wood panelling and snug booths where you can catch up over a drink. Upstairs, the bedrooms have a more up-to-date look. Crisp, white walls and a neutral colour scheme make them feel bright and spacious. And French windows open out onto your own balcony or terrace, so you’ve got some private space to enjoy the snow-covered views.
As for the food, the hotel kitchen pride themselves on serving up traditional Trentino cuisine, from freshly made apple cake and muffins for breakfast, to filled pasta and dumpling soups at dinnertime. And as this is Italy, there’s a great wine list to choose from too.

•Classic ski village •Linked area •Epic Dolomites scenery
Among the classic destinations for Italian ski holidays, Madonna di Campiglio’s charming mountain village is one of the greats. Connections to Folgarida and Marilleva mean you can explore other areas without having to remove your skis (but with the standard of food on offer, you might want to give your legs a break in a mountain restaurant or two...).
