The incredible A-Rosa Resort really is regal. This Tyrolean-style castle crowns the Kitzbühel valley and provides absolute luxury at every turn.
The A-Rosa is only a short walk away from the resort centre, but really, the resort is in its own perfect bubble – you’ll find everything you need here to make your stay extra special. It is a bit further away from the slopes than some other properties in the resort, but don’t fret, as the hotel provides a complimentary shuttle bus to whisk you to and from the ski lifts each morning and afternoon.
You’ll also be treated to stunning panoramic views of the gorgeous lake and Wilder Kaiser Mountains from your window every day, as well as the famous ski run, Streif, which they’ve named their restaurant after. Here is where you’ll enjoy your half-board meals – you’ll get to pick what you like from a rich a delicious buffet, full of fresh produce, at both breakfast and dinner. There are also themed evenings throughout the week, as well as a children’s buffet and even show cooking.
If, one night, you want a change of scenery, then head to the other onsite restaurant, Kaps Steakhouse, for a delicious à la carte meal under the wooden-beamed ceilings. Make sure you sample one of their mouth-watering meat dishes, cooked on their unique charcoal grill, which is nicknamed ‘The Big Green Egg’.
Après wouldn’t be après without a drink, so head to the Bar am Markplatz for a zingy cocktail or glass of wine, and visit the outdoor terrace bar for even more of those breathtaking mountain views.
One of the most defining features of the A-Rosa is its 3,000m2spa. Spread over two floors, you can relax in an opulent indoor/outdoor pool, detox in one of the seven themed saunas and steam rooms, or sink into heaven on one of the water beds in the tranquillity room.
