Jersey ski holidays

There are no ski holidays from Jersey airport this winter, but there are lots from nearby London airports.

Jersey Airport (JER) is in Saint Peter province, 5 miles west of St Helier, and serves the Channel Islands of Jersey.

It has regular flights to airports in the UK and winter flights to Geneva in Switzerland as well as other European destinations.

Access the airport from the L’Avenue de La Commune which starts on the roundabout of the A12 Route de Beaumont. If you are travelling from the A13, leave at the Route des Quennevais, or Chemin des Basses Mielles.

Parking at Jersey Airport:

Drop off zone: Cars are allowed to briefly stop outside the departures terminal in order to unload bags and wave off travellers.

Pick up Zone: On the approach road to the terminal there is a designated zone with a maximum stopping time of 10 minutes.

You’ll find a Short Stay car park outside arrivals with parking costing 70p per 30 minutes last time we checked.

The Long Stay car park is opposite departures, where prices start at 70p an hour.

Public Transport to/from Jersey Airport:

There’s a bus stop outside arrivals, where the 15 service runs to Liberation Station in St Helier, via Red Houses and St Aubin. If you’re arriving at the airport via bus you’ll probably be dropped off outside the departures terminal.

Taxis to/from Jersey Airport:

You’ll find the airport’s taxi rank outside arrivals, served by Citicabs, Domino Cabs, Luxicabs and Yellow Cabs.

Lounges:

The British Airways Executive Lounge is accessible to BA Executive Cardholders, Priority Passes, Airport Angels and One World passengers. Travellers with Flybe Premier Cards can also use the lounge.

Blue Islands passengers have two waiting lounges, which can also be used by Aurigny passengers using inter-island services.

Food and Drink:

In the departures lounge you’ll find the Island Coffee shop, The Bar and an Island Market. In the arrivals terminal there is the Aviator Café.

Shopping:

Shops in departures include WH Smith, Healthspan, Jersey Pearl jewellery, World Duty Free and a Pottery and Wine shop selling lovely locally sourced produce. There’s also a Bureau de Change in the departures Post Office.

Wi-Fi:

Last time we checked there was complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the terminal.
