Humberside ski holidays
There are no ski holidays from Humberside airport this winter, but there are lots from nearby Leeds-Bradford airport.
Humberside Airport (HUY) is located in Kirmington, North Lincolnshire. It’s about half an hour’s drive from Hull and Grimsby, and within an hour of Lincoln, Doncaster and Skegness.
Coming second place in the 2013 Which? list of the best airports for customer experience, Humberside’s destinations include the skiing nations of Bulgaria, Switzerland, Italy and Lapland.

There is easy access by car from all directions on the M1, M62 and M180. Leave the M180 at junction 5 and follow signs to the airport, which is just off the A18.
Parking at Humberside Airport:
All of the carparks here are within walking distance of the terminal.
Car Park 1 has a drop-off and pick-up zone adjacent to the terminal. Parking is free for the first 15 minutes.
The Short Stay car park cost £30 a day last time we checked, with 7 days in the Long Stay car park costing around £67.

Stagecoach ‘Humber Flyer’ (Monday-Saturday): Calling at Cleethorpes, Grimsby, Humberside Airport, Barton and Hull
Trains to/from Humberside Airport:
Barnetby is the closest rail station (4 miles away), and taxis run from here to the airport. The TransPennine Express have trains to Manchester Airport and East Midlands Trains run to Leicester, Grimsby and Nottingham as well as many other northern and southern rail stations.

Coaches to/from Humberside Airport:
National Express have coaches to Grimsby, Cleethorpes and Hull, from which you can then take the Humber Flyer coach to the airport.

The Executive Lounge has a bar with complimentary soft drinks, beers, wines and spirits. There’s also complimentary Wi-Fi as well as TV screens, newspapers and magazines. Business facilities include writing desks and fax machines.
Food and Drink:
There is an Aviator restaurant before security, which serves sandwiches, and snacks. Aviator also have 2 bars before and after security.
Shopping:
You will find a World Duty Free in the departure lounge and a WH Smith in the check-in hall. For currency, there’s a theExchange desk in the main terminal building.
Wi-Fi:
Last time we checked there was free Wi-Fi available throughout the airport for up to half an hour. To stay connected, there’s usually a premium and pay-as-you-surf service.
