East Midlands Airport (EMA) is in Castle Donington, within half an hour’s drive of Derby, Nottingham and Leicester and around hour from Birmingham, Stoke on Trent and Northampton.
Winner of the ‘World’s Leading Eco Friendly Airport’, it was also voted 2013’s ‘Best Regional UK Airport for Customer Service’ and serves destinations near ski resorts including Chambery, Salzburg, Milan and Geneva.

Driving from the north: Take the M1 southbound, exiting at junction 24 for the A453 towards Airport / Loughborough. Take exits for Ashby Road at the roundabouts to stay on the A453 and the turning for Viscount Road and East Midlands Airport will be on your right.
Driving from the south: Head northbound on the M1, leaving at junction 23a. Continue onto the A453 towards Derby / Airport / Stoke and then take a right turn to Viscount Road for the airport.
Driving from the east: From the A42, turn left onto the A453 slip road (towards M1 South, Birmingham) and continue on the A453 until the right turning for Viscount Road and airport.
Driving from the west: Take the A50, then take a slight right onto the A50-A453 link road. Continue on the A453 until you reach the right turning for the airport / Viscount Road.
Parking at East Midlands Airport:
Jet Parks have cheap on-site parking, a 15 minute shuttle ride from the terminal.
There are 4 Long Stay car parks: 1, 2 and 3 are within a 7 minute walk of the terminal, and Long Stay car park 4 is a 5 minute bus ride.
The Short Stay car park is right outside the terminal – the closest self-park car park.
Express Park is a 3-5 minute walk from the terminal and Meet & Greet parking is also available.

National Express have coaches to Derby, Nottingham and Leicester, from which you can connect to the airport via the Skylink buses. They also have direct services from the airport to Sheffield, Leeds, Luton Airport, Gatwick Airport and Gatwick Airport.
