Bournemouth ski holidays
Bournemouth Airport (BOH) serves 36 national and international destinations. It was voted 2010 and 2011’s ‘Best European Airport’ in the 1-5 million passenger category.
Easily reached from the south coast, the airport is a quarter of an hour’s drive from Bournemouth town centre and only about half an hour from Poole.

The airport can be found just off the A338 (via the A31) and is clearly signposted from then on.
Parking at Bournemouth Airport:
Standard Parking (Car Park 1) is a short walk (about 3 minutes) to the terminal. You can secure your place by booking in advance – then use the green lane for pre-booked spaces.
Flexible Parking (also Car Park 1) lets you pre book and have the chance to alter your booking if your plans change.
Premium Parking (head to Car Park 1, then follow signs for Premium Parking) puts you directly outside the terminal building. It also gives you the flexibility to cancel or change your booking up until the night before you travel. Last time we checked you got free drinks upon arrival in one of the terminal restaurants.

Operated by Bournemouth’s famous Yellow Bus, the A1 runs between Bournemouth Rail Station, Hurn, Bournemouth Airport, Adventure Wonderland and the Airport Business Park. Last time we checked, it departed every hour, seven days a week from 7am-8pm.
Trains to/from Bournemouth Airport:
The closest rail stations are Christchurch (3.6 miles away), Pokesdown (4.4 miles away) and Bournemouth (5.6 miles away). You can book taxis from the first two, while the A1 Yellow Bus runs between Bournemouth station and the airport. Bournemouth Station has regular trains to and from stations including Poole, Weymouth, London Waterloo and Manchester Piccadilly.

Compass cars operate the airports private taxi service with a large fleet and pre booking services.
Coaches to/from Bournemouth Airport:
National Express run coaches to Bournemouth town, from which you can catch the A1 Yellow Bus to the airport.

There is a Joe’s before security and once airside, you’ll find the EstPresso Café and The Olive Tree bar and restaurant.
Shopping:
The airport has currency exchange desks operated by Travelex. In terms of shops, you’ll find a WH Smith before and after security and the classic World Duty Free airside.
Wi-Fi:
Travellers have access to one hour of free Wi-Fi, after which charges apply (usually £5 per hour or £10 a day).
