Verbier Chalets

Verbier ski chalet holidays

Our collection of chalets in this legendary Swiss resort ranges from from Verbier’s very finest to simpler ski lodges.

Verbier Chalet Catering

Verbier is one of the best resorts for chalets in Switzerland, and most come on a traditional catered chalet basis. Breakfast is served each morning, then there’s afternoon tea when you come in from the slopes and dinner with wine in the evening. One or two days are the chalet hosts day off, where breakfast is usually ‘help-yourself’ and you can eat in a local restaurant at suppertime.

The standards of your food depend on the style of chalet you stay in, ranging from hearty classics in the simpler properties to serious haute cuisine in the most luxurious abodes, cooked by chefs with experience in Michelin-starred kitchens.

Small Chalets in Verbier

If you’re travelling with the family or as a small group, you can have a whole chalet to yourselves without paying underoccupancy if your party size fills one of our small chalets. Some of the smallest we have are Chalet Darabay andChalet Pegase which each sleep 6, while Chalet Plein Soleil sleeps 8.

Verbier Chalet Hotels

Combining hotel size and facilities with good old-fashioned chalet catering, chalet hotels like Chalet De Verbier work for anyone seeking a sociable atmosphere. In this particular property, there’s room for over 80 guests as well as fantastic access to the town’s legendary nightlife.

Group Chalets in Verbier

With some of the biggest and best après ski on the planet, plus the huge 4 Valleys ski area, Verbier is brilliant for groups. Large groups looking to party should check out our big chalets with central locations near Place Centrale. We also have properties of all sizes set away from the hubbub if you’d prefer a quieter setting.

Family Chalets in Verbier

Our best chalets for families can arrange childcare on request, either in house or in a nearby creche. For children ready to begin skiing, somewhere near the Moulin nursery slope or beginner areas in Les Esserts and Le Rouge takes the legwork out of the ski school run. If you’re keen to avoid the noise of Verbier centre, we have dozens of chalets in quieter locations that still have super access to the lifts.

Ski-in/ski-out Chalets in Verbier

Properties near the slopes or served by a local bus are ideal if getting straight out onto the snow is your priority. Though a lot of Verbier’s chalets don’t have doorstep skiing, many have a private driver to transport you to and fro when needed. The ones that do have ski in/out access tend to be in the Medran area. To make getting around the resort easy, stay somewhere like Chalet Darbay where you’re only 100m from the Medran lifts AND within easy walking distance of Place Centrale.

Luxury Chalets in Verbier

Book one of our luxury properties to extend the feel of this exclusive ski resort to your accommodation. We have some fantastic options with first class facilities including saunas and hot tubs – full-on spas at the top end of the scale - as well as excellent chalet chefs to serve every appetite.

We love a chalet with a comfy living area and open fire for cosy evenings, especially when you can hold onto that toasty feeling in the mornings with a heated boot room. Most chalets come with WiFi if you want to keep in touch with the outside world – with scenic balconies and fashionable furnishings it’s hard not to show off where you’re staying!

Verbier Chalets with Flights

Browse our brilliant properties in Verbier using the filters at the top of this page – our best chalet packages come with flights and transfers, and you can choose between a number of UK airports for the most convenient package.

For alternative travel, you can select a holiday with channel crossing if you prefer to self-drive. If you’ve got the transport sorted separately, look through our accommodation only options – or drop us a line and let us do the legwork.

Chalets in Verbier centre/Verbier Town

Verbier town is a huddle of roads branching off the Route de Verbier Station at 1500m – some lively and lined with bars, restaurants and nightclubs (including the famous Place Centrale), and others quiet and residential. Buses and chalet shuttles run between the town and Medran station, which is where you’ll find the main ski lifts.

Chalet Arcades

Chalet Treize Etoiles

Chalets in Medran

Properties in the Medran area will see you up in the main ski area the soonest. At 1532m altitude, this is where you’ll find the Medran and Le Chable lifts as well as the resort’s main ski schools and hire shops and a selection of cafes and restaurants. Getting to Place Centrale in town takes about a ten-minute walk or a couple of minutes in the car.

The Napoli

Chalet Darbay

Chalet Rosalp

Chalets on Place Centrale

This is famously the liveliest part of town, about a ten-minute walk or two-minute drive from the Medran lifts and home to legendary Le Farinet Bar as well as the tourist office, cinema and numerous restaurants and shops. The rest of Verbier is easily reachable on foot or by bus.

Dent Blanche

Laineux

Chalets in Plan-Praz

Along Chemin de Plan Pra, Plan-Praz is a posh part of the resort, with gorgeous wooden chalets and evergreens backed by rolling meadows and cliffs. In the summer, this is the location of Salle des combins – the main venue for the Verbier Festival. In winter, it’s 5 minutes by car to the slopes or a 25-minute walk, while Verbier centre is a 2 minute drive or 15 minute walk away.

Chalet Pierre Avoi

Chalets in the Sonalon area

Exclusive Chemin du Sonalon is one of the most scenic addresses around, a no through road on the mountainside above Verbier. There are restaurants (like Le Sonalon) within a 5 – 10-minute walk, while the Savoleyres lift is a 5 minute drive away. You can reach Verbier town and the Medran lifts in about 10 minutes by car – a lot of chalets here come with a private chauffeur service.

Chalet Nyumba

Norte

Chalets in Moulins

The Moulins area can be identified by its nursery slope, set away from the main ski area but close to the town centre. The beginner run is usually used by the Swiss Ski School for children’s lessons and there are childcare centres, supermarkets and restaurants nearby. From most properties in Moulins, it’s 10-minutes on foot or a 5-minute drive the Medran lifts.

Chalet Pegase

Chalet Sherwood

Chalets in Savoleyres

Up in hills above Verbier centre, Savoleyres is a quieter, south facing area where the Savoleyres gondola takes you towards La Tzoumaz. The area has its own sports shops and restaurants. Access to the main Medran lifts takes around a 5-minute drive / 20-minute walk, and it takes a 2-minute drive / 15-minute walk to reach the centre of town.

Chalet Toundra

Chalet Corniche

Chalets in Le Hameau

An exclusive and pretty development above the centre, Le Hameau is close to the Le Rouge and Les Esserts drag lifts and beginner areas and the Mayentzet chair – which lets you skip the morning Medran queues and get straight up into the ski area. Properties here are around a 5-minute drive or 15 to 20-minute walk from the centre and Medran lifts, though most chalets provide a private driver to take care of transport.

Chalet Delormes

Makini

If you want a classic Swiss choc box chalet in one of the world’s most luxurious, lively ski resorts, Verbier’s nigh on impossible to rival. To see what chalets are available in other Swiss resorts click here, or browse everything we have worldwide here.
