If you’re worried about the convenience of self-catering, the Résidence Cheval Blanc Apartments and Machu Pichu Apartments are very near the supermarket so you won’t have to lug your shopping around too much.

Of course a holiday with a self catering board basis doesn’t have to mean cooking your own meals every day – Val Thorens’ fantastic restaurant scene makes it one of the best resorts for foodies and without set meals, you have the freedom to explore the local gastronomy as you please.
