If you’re keen on making the cooking and dining as easy as possible on your self-catering holiday, the Residence La Rivière Apartments and Chamonix Blanc Apartments in Chamonix Sud have a brilliant selection of food shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. One of the most popular places to stay in Cham, Residence Cristal de Jade are next to the Aguille du Midi lift station only a couple of minutes walk to the town centre where you’ll find shops, restaurants and cafes.

Despite the implications of ‘self-catering’, staying in an apartment doesn’t have to mean doing the cooking yourself. Some food shops sell ready-prepared meals that you can take back to your accommodation and there’s an array of restaurants and cafes around the town if you prefer to eat out.
