Hotel Regina Palace is as grand as it gets. Think frescoed ceilings, chandeliers and rich colours throughout. It sits proudly on the lakefront promenade, set back from the road by established gardens. At the back, you’ll find the pool where you can pull up a lounger and relax. There’s a snack bar serving drinks all day and if you feel like burning off some energy, there’s tennis courts too.
We can’t get enough of the spa here - its included in the hotel price. Its clever design mimics a subterranean cave and the heated pool has hydro massage jets and sensory colours. It’s a fantastic way to relax. There’s treatments that you can book too (payable locally). When you’ve had enough of relaxing, you’ll be well placed to explore Lake Maggiore. The centre of Stresa is a comfortable stroll away and you can jump on a ferry and be at the Borromean Islands in no time.

Liberty Restaurant is next to the lake with a terrace that you can use during warmer weather. The menu changes daily and uses local ingredients to create favourite Italian dishes. Guests on half board will eat at this restaurant and a buffet breakfast is served from 7am to 10am.
Charleston Restaurant is the hotel's à la carte dinner option offering refined cuisine in a wonderful setting. The ever-changing menu uses fresh ingredients to create something special. Enjoy dishes including white sea bream fillet in prosecco sauce and ravioli of foie gras. During the warmer months it's possible to dine outside on the terrace by candle light, with incredible views of the lake. Guests staying on half board can receive a credit for an evening meal here, reservations are recommended.
The Grill is located in the hotel's park near to the pool, offering drinks, snacks and light lunches. They also have a delicious range of cocktails on offer.
1900 Bar offers a place to relax with a drink during the day with a lovely terrace overlooking the lake. In the evenings, live music is played five nights a week.
