Lake Garda’s climate is at its warmest in July and if you like a large dose of sunshine with your summer holidays, Lazise is a super place to book your accommodation.

Lazise is hot in July and offers the perfect environment to soak up the sun. It has a brilliant sandy beach which is widely considered to be one of Lake Garda’s best. About ten minutes from the centre of the town, it’s open to the public and with restaurants, bars and cafes nearby is great if you want to enjoy a proper beach day. You can hire dinghies and jet skis for fun on the lake as well as motorboats if you want to explore the lake further.

For a summer holiday full of amazing days out, Lazise has Canevaworld - a fantastic Aquapark with jumps, slides, rubber rings and much more to enjoy in the water and keep cool in hot weather. The nearby Parco Natura Riva Zoo is brilliant for a family day out and has both sunny and shaded areas including a drive through safari park. For a day out further afield, Lazise is less than half an hour away from Verona and July is a brilliant time to visit here during the Opera festival if you want to sample some of the city’s legendary culture.

Because of its southern position on Lake Garda, Lazise is sheltered from breezes which makes it feel a lot warmer than other Lake Garda resorts. With July as the hottest month in Lake Garda, Lazise is brilliant for sun worshippers but if you’d rather stay somewhere cooler, try Riva, Torbole or Limone.
