Lazise has glorious weather in August thanks to its position on the sunny southern end of the lake and offers a holiday filled with lazy days around the town, activities on the lake and some brilliant days out.
An attractive town that oozes character, you can spend the long hours of sunshine walking down Lazise’s picturesque promenade, exploring cobbled streets and watching the boats go by from the harbour. Lazise has a brilliant sandy beach where you can hire dinghies, jet skis and motorboats for fun on the lake (the water is warmest at this time of year) or just lie back and soak up the sunshine.
Lazise offers some fantastic days out, particularly for families, where you can enjoy a change of scenery without having to travel too far. It’s home to Canevaworld, a huge water park offering jumps and slides in all shapes and sizes and also has Gardaland and Parco Natura Viva nearby.
Lazise is brilliant in August for that balance of laziness in the sun and exciting days out, making it a popular place for families during the school holidays. Because of its sheltered position, Lazise feels warmer than other Lake Garda resorts. This makes it brilliant if you like your summer holidays in a hot climate but if you’d rather stay somewhere a bit cooler, check out the more northern lake towns of Limone, Torbole and Riva.
