Having first skied with school aged 10, Richard eventually fulfilled a lifetime ambition and, while his friends were sensibly buying houses to live in, bought a small flat in Chamonix. After several summers of climbing and winters of skiing and snowboarding, he decided to create a business based around winter sports holidays. After a decade and more of making factual programmes at the beeb, Richard left auntie to create Sno Limited and the rest is history.
Skis: all mountain

Favourite Resort: Chamonix
Idalette learned to ski in Kitzbuhel aged 13 and, after a short period on snowboard, decided that skiing was the way to go. Firmly focussed on the "holiday" element of a ski holiday, Id prefers to treat skiing as recreation rather than sport and is the most likely team member to come back from a ski trip super relaxed and recharged. To this end, she is a strong advocate of the Italian style of ski holiday, where more focus is put on the great food and friendly relaxed vibe than on clocking up huge on-piste mileage.
Top resort recommendations: Zermatt, Courchevel, Les Gets, Avoriaz, Morzine, Kitzbuhel.
Favourite resort: Val d'Isere.
Since strapping into a snowboard in Saalbach aged 15, Calvin’s been totally hooked on the white stuff. He loves the jumps and tricks side of boarding… But at the end of the day nothing beats off piste riding in fresh powder! On ski holidays, you’ll find him up at the crack of dawn and kitted up, ready to catch that first lift of the day. The best things about being in the mountains? The atmosphere of the different towns, the après ski bars and meeting new people (after the snow of course!).
Snowboard: Burton / Salomon
Favourite trick: Any kind of grab (when I land them)
Top 5 resorts: Wengen, Tignes, Saalbach, Val d’Isere, Livigno
Favourite resort: Tignes
First skiing with family aged 7 and then following with several school ski trips, it was inevitable that Natalie would become a chalet girl after university. Her passion for the mountains has kept Natalie in the ski travel industry, booking thousands of happy customers over the last decade, and travelling to new resorts each year. Natalie has skied most of the top resorts in France, several in Italy and Switzerland, and is a Lapland and Santa Breaks specialist. Having worked and lived in Courchevel for six months as a chalet host, this magical resort remains Natalie’s favourite.
Jack first learned to ski on school trips to Austria in his teens, then finally earned enough to take himself on a group ski holiday to Verbier with pals. Jack was hooked and took a job in a hotel the very next winter! Loving a log fire and dining with friends, Jack has become an expert in chalet holidays and has visited Val d’Isere the most, but his favourite resort is still Verbier… you never forget your first season!
Kristina has been a travel operations expert for her whole career and a ski specialist for over a decade. After working for one of our main chalet operators, she came to SNO after covid and is already central to the focus on our customers having an amazing experience before, during and after their ski holidays. She might be a ski specialist, but Kristina is also a total sun-worshipper, sporting the joint best tennis-tan alongside Jack on our recent team holiday in Greece. Kristina’s favourite ski resorts are La Plagne and Les Arcs.
Our other Richard is a veteran of many ski resorts, but his clear favourite remains Whistler, where he spent a couple of deliriously happy seasons in his twenties. Expert in Austrian ski holidays (especially St Anton and Ischgl), Rich is also one of our top experts on all inclusive ski holidays, so ask for him if you prefer sticking to an exact budget with ski-all-in. Loving tennis too, Rich T is a big fan of Club Med summer holidays because they include free coaching… and a completely free bar!
Growing up in Scotland, you’d think Annaliese might be virtually born on snow, but she has actually only just starting to learn to ski this winter. With a passion for travel and a love of all things sporting, her role in aftersales is the perfect fit. We’re going to enjoy getting her hooked!
Perhaps the most experienced person in the world of ski holiday bookings, Tom has been sending repeat customers to the world’s best ski resorts and alpine accommodation for over a decade. With an encyclopaedic knowledge of European catered chalets, if he can’t find it for you, it doesn’t exist. While he has a soft spot for Obergurgl, Tom is the man to phone if you’re looking to grab a last minute ski holiday at the best possible price.
Our resident ski instructor, Ross became a holiday reservations expert here in London, and has also worked for SNO while living for a winter in Morzine – ah the joys of a ski resort “workation”! Famously unhurried and unphased, Ross left driving back to the UK until the actual day that France closed to all travel, at the very start of Covid. Apart from a love of skiing in Canada, Ross’ favourite ski resorts are anywhere he can go on a family ski holiday with his mum, dad, sister and brother – a family who skis together stays together :-)
Another travel industry veteran, after a childhood filled with skiing, Bekki has been an Aftersales pro for almost a decade, recently returning to SNO to help with us handle a super busy winter, after time away helping her sister start a mental health charity. Another big tennis player in the team, Bekki goes for a classier ski experience and loves the “après” just as much as the “ski”. Favourite resorts are, of course, the posher ones: Verbier, Val d’Isere and Ischgl.
George knows people.
Having built the UK's fastest growing ski website, Sky has a wider knowledge of the stats and reputations of more ski resorts than the most sun-soaked old seasonaire. Ensuring our thousands of chalet, hotel and apartment details and images are constantly up to date, he also knows all of the best (and best priced) accommodation and ski holiday packages. Still a beginner on the slopes, Sky is a true "armchair expert" on the best skiing worldwide.

Having learned to ski in France just 3 years ago, Naomi has definitely caught the ski fever and can't wait to be back on the slopes each winter to learn some more, get the essential goggle tan and have a slope-side Tartiflette! She loves knowing the resorts inside out as well as getting to know the locals who work in them. Naomi is currently researching Europe's top ski resorts to ensure our guides are the most useful online. She is our top expert on childcare and family friendly places to ski with kids.

After finding a love for skiing aged 15 in Austria, Kiah describes herself as a cruisey skier who likes a challenging red or black every now and again. Her ideal piste is one that ends in a bar with a sun lounger... And her favourite thing about skiing is finishing a run and looking up thinking “did I do that?!” When she’s not on the slopes, you’ll find her on said sun lounger - or back in the chalet getting to know the staff and other guests over dinner and drinks.
Skis: Lacroix Pearl Flakes
Top resorts: St Anton, Val d'Isere, Tignes, Val Thorens, Les 2 Alpes
Favourite Resort: Les 2 Alpes
Favourite accommodation: Hotel Altapura
Jon first learnt to ski in La Thuile on a school trip aged 12. He recently learnt to snowboard in Pas de la Casa, but rather than converting to the dark side likes to call himself ‘ambisnowstrous’… A passionate ski trip planner (he takes yearly trips to the Alps and was Vice President of his uni ski club) Jonathan loves spending ski holidays with friends – and when not on the slopes he’ll be found at slopeside bar enjoying a spot of après!

Kelly first strapped into a snowboard in 2008 in his homeland New Zealand, before finding himself doing a season in Whistler and becoming one with the mountains… then a dancing machine by night (if he’s not on the slopes, you’ll definitely find him on the tiles). Our resident expert on long haul ski trips, he’s snowboarded around British Columbia, Vail and Breckenridge. Having more recently found a soft spot for Switzerland in the Jungfrau region, he’s now excited to check out other resorts around Europe.

As a teenager Louise lived in Switzerland, so growing up with the Alps on her doorstep she soon fell in love with skiing. Her favourite style of skiing is freeride - venturing off into the powder and in-between the trees. She is a real mountain enthusiast who also enjoys snowboarding, rock climbing and hiking. Louise is using her knowledge of Europe’s best resorts to help make Sno the place to come for ski advice.

Sophie learnt to ski in Vermont age 6. From then on she took to the American slopes every year and despite the occasional ski-in with a tree, caught the bug big time and took to the piste wherever she had the chance. Having skied in North America, Chile and Australia she is keen to enjoy more of our European skiing culture. She loves spending a long day on the slopes, with the occasional stop-off at a cosy mountain bar for a well-deserved drink.

Michael first skied as a toddler in the ski schools of Pfronten, Germany. He has since been perfecting his carving skills on the slopes of Chamonix, St. Anton, Val Thorens, and Cervinia, where he most recently worked as a seasonaire. There he had his first stab at the snowparks, attempting to get his skis in the air. He is known to enjoy munching on Nutella waffles and making his way diligently down for après beers at every happy hour. Mike now works here at Sno providing the inside scoop on the top ski resorts in the Alps and helping to ensure our clients find the best deals and book the right ski holiday for their party.
Favourite resort: Cervinia
Best hotel: Club Med Cervinia
Maddie first learned to ski age 12 on a school trip to Serre Chevalier. Awarded the Stack of the Day prize thanks to an embarrassing incident involving a chair lift and a pole, she wore that dragon-horned hat forfeit prize with pride for the rest of the week. Following another trip to Austria 2 years later, Maddie was hooked. This year in France she made up for lost time by visiting every ski resort possible. Maddie has a place in her heart for small time traditional French resorts, and a place in her stomach for a cheesey fondue every time!
Favourite resort: Tignes
Best hotel: Gustavia in Chamonix
