Apartment was brilliant! No issues with the staff. They were very helpful. The cooking facilities in the apartment were not sufficient enough. There were a limited number of utensils aswell. But we weren’t looking to cook anyway.
Breakfast was expensive, so we sorted ourselves for that. We had takeaways most nights or we went out.
You can ski out, but restricted on where you can ski. It is just a short walk (5 mins) to the lifts. There were days where it was windy so they did close some of the lifts on some of the days.
The nightlife was limited we thought. It was a bit of a trek to Val Claret. Inghams staff could have been more helpful when we were there, for suggestions on where to go etc. We would also avoid Chambery next time.

The apartments were good – nice, new and clean, just slightly more expensive than the rest. They were good enough that we’d probably go back if we stayed in Tignes again.
The people were very nice, helpful and accommodating.
We mostly did self-catering - food shops weren’t far away, and I noticed that the cost of supermarket food was less than I’ve seen in smaller resorts – sometimes a can of baked beans can cost 300% more than you would usually pay, but here the price was about the same you’d find in shops at home.
We used the restaurant a couple of times for breakfast, and it was very reasonably priced.
Getting around Tignes is very easy from here, we didn’t know about it until the second or third day, but the ski room back door has a ramp that goes straight down - so if you know what you’re doing you can ski down to the lifts.
They had a swimming pool and sauna, and the only slight irritation was that the sauna was badly designed with a gap under the door, so it was never hot enough – only a slight thing, but we quite like using the sauna so it was a shame.
