1 review of Le Panoramic in Flaine, France.

The apartments themselves are lovely, but my main complaint is the lack of organisation there. They’d only just opened and they didn’t have enough staff. The apartments are owned by a big French company who run other apartments in the same resort and they should have drafted in more senior staff. The checking in procedure was shambolic - we arrived there at about 2, were told they wouldn’t be ready until 4 but it wasn’t until 6:30 that we got our keys. I had to queue for over an hour on two separate occasions, everyone staying there ended up complaining.
There was laundry and towels just lying around at reception because of the lack of staff/management. We didn’t know until we arrived that although there are TV’s in the room, you have to pay 40€ per remote - then they told us not to bother because they only showed French channels anyway. Apart from the swimming pool, all the facilities also required an extra charge. We had to line up to collect bed linen and towels, it was more like being on a school trip than a holiday.
Inside the apartment was lovely, we had a few niggles but soon sorted those out. The location is fantastic, it couldn’t have been better as we were right on the piste.
We’d go back to Flaine and would possibly go back to these apartments, but I’d want to know that they’d got their acts together.
