The Fairmont is a lovely hotel, we liked the food, facilities, friendliness and just the informal atmosphere. Everyone was really welcoming and the whole place is very comfortable. The spa is amazing! If I had to suggest one thing, it’s to bring your ID to the outdoor hot tub (which is lovely!) if you want a glass of bubbly – my 27 year old daughter got ID’d in it (you don’t want to have to go back up to your room having already changed into your swimming costume!). The hotel has easy access to going out in the evenings, you just get a taxi to the restaurants.
The breakfast buffet was huge, absolutely huge! You could still order off the menu but really most of what’s on the menu is in the buffet anyway. They had chefs on the spot who’d cook you pancakes etc. For a big place it was quite organised, we always managed to get a seat.
It’s not a cheap hotel, it’s on the pricier end, but I would definitely recommend it.
