Located in the centre of La Massana, in the west of Andorra, this hotel opened in 2005 offering a fantastic base for a ski holiday or mountain retreat. The town lies at the foot of the Vallnord ski resort and is only a ten-minute drive from the renowned shopping area in Andorra la Vella. Aside from hiking, skiing and shopping, guests can relax in the hotel's spa area, complete with indoor swimming pool, hot tub, gym and sauna. Each spacious room is simply furnished with air-conditioning, minibar, television with international channels and complimentary wireless internet access. Guests might choose to dine on fabulous Mediterranean cuisine in the in-house restaurant and enjoy a drink in the rustic Irish pub after a busy day. Food-wise, we like Pizzeria Angelo on Av. Sant Antoni for Italian favourites. Henrik at La Borda Xica (near the Sant Iscle i Santa Victòria church) always recommends the best specials and wines. Cal Silvino on Av. El Traves is a good spot for simple set menus. For lively après ski, head over to Arinsal which has a reputation for some of the biggest and best mountain bars in Andorra.
