Overview: chalet description: Chalet Roselle description

For a contemporary yet warm and homely family space, look no further than Chalet Roselle. With panoramic views over the town and valley from either your open plan living space, master bedroom, or balcony, this is the ideal spot to spend quality time with your loved ones soaking up the fresh mountain air. Comfortably sleeping 8, with ample storage space and enough bathrooms for all; this is a lovely social space built with family living in mind.

As you enter the softly furnished living room you'll notice the striking view through floor to ceiling windows, leading onto the balcony. A social and inviting space, you can make use of the Sonos system, enjoy a games night, or lounge in front of the large fireplace on those chilly evenings in. To your left is the open plan kitchen with all modern appliances and a breakfast bar. From the living area, there is a convenient adjacent W.C, and a separate TV room across the hallway.

Once the kids are asleep downstairs, you can comfortably entertain 8 guests in the dining nook next to the open kitchen. On sunny mornings, enjoy your coffee outside on the furnished balcony, and head up the mountain for a day on the slopes after grabbing your gear and your toasty, heated boots from the large ski room downstairs. The Médran lift is an easy 4-minute drive away, whilst a stroll to the bustling center of town will take you just 12 minutes. Here you can peruse the range of high-end shops or take a night off from cooking to enjoy some of the alpine culinary delights on offer in the local restaurants.

The master bedroom of the chalet is on the top level, with a vaulted roof and impressive floor-to-ceiling windows, mimicking the silhouettes of the mountain peaks that you’ll wake up to in the luxurious bed. You’ll find ample wardrobe space and one corner of the bedroom acts as an office area, with a desk facing the stunning view. There is also a comfortable 3 seater sofa, creating a cosy relaxing corner. This room incorporates a Sonos system, so that you can set the right mood at any time of the day. Nature is bought in once again through a wide skylight above the bath in the gorgeous en-suite, with sleek ceramic and slate finishes and warm lighting.

Across the landing is the second double bedroom, with warm wooden finishes and a generously sized en-suite, which includes a bathtub to unwind in and a large mirrored cupboard above the sink; a feature present in all of the bathrooms in the property.

The rooms downstairs all feature blackout curtains covering glass doors leading out on to the terrace and private hedged garden. The first double room. on this floor, has its own en-suite shower room. The second bedroom on this floor is a bunk bedroom, perfect for children, with a separate shower room, just along the hallway.

As well as the ski room on this floor which has it's own entrance, there is a discreet utility area with a washing machine and dryer. A short walk away there are two outdoor parking spaces at your disposal.

This accommodation only holiday to Chalet Roselle in Verbier, Switzerland departs Sunday 13th April 2025, for a 7 night stay on a "self catering" board basis. A local tourist tax (Taxe de Sejour or Kurtaxe) is levied by many councils in European ski resorts. It varies by standard and type of accommodation and is age dependent, so not everyone is charged. It's not included in the basic price of your holiday and is usually paid locally. For reference, the average charged in winter 2024 was between €1 and €3 per person, per night.

Established in 1937, posh party town Verbier covers a sunny plateau slap bang in the middle of Switzerland’s 4 valleys – which just happens to be one of Europe’s biggest and best ski areas. The easy-on-the-eye architecture’s a pretty mix of wood and slate, but it’s what you’ll find within some of these walls that’ll blow your socks off… Blending in with dozens of classic chalets and ski hotels, this place has some of the most luxurious lodgings on the planet. Some hotels come with designer suites an...
Besides being famous for its off-piste routes, Verbier’s well groomed slopes are well known as some of the most challenging in the Alps. Although it mainly attracts intermediate, advanced and expert level skiers seeking adventurous off-piste and steeps experience, the 37 local pistes covering 100km provide for all abilities. The resort has three areas specifically for beginners, including the gentle slopes at Les Moulins, which has a children’s area and Les Esserts, with its 120m magic carpet. Those with a b...
Many say Verbier’s après is the main reason to visit – it’s certainly some of the best in the world and if you want to increase the odds of bumping into Prince Harry or Leonardo di Caprio on the dance floor, there’s no better place to party. From a good old pint in a lively pub (we love Nelson’s and Pub Mont Fort) to swanky cocktails with the socialites at Cordee de Alps, the nightlife is wonderfully varied. An absolute legend is the Farinet - with a huge sliding roof, a commanding position over the mai...
