Chalet Face is a two minute walk to the Bellevarde Express lift and close to the center of Val d'Isere. Geneva 170km, Chambery 135km, Lyon 234km.

Situated in a prime spot next to neighboring Chalet Papillon and just meters from the bottom of the Bellevarde chairlift, Chalet Face is a clever blend of authentic alpine architecture with a modern feel. The chalet has been finished to an exceptionally high standard and with its exceptional facilities is one of the best self-catered properties available in Val d'Isère.

Accommodation is thoughtfully spread out over two floors, with two double bedrooms on the ground level and a further three bedrooms on the first floor - each has its own en-suite shower room with separate WC.

The lower ground floor features the swimming pool and hammam, a welcome haven after an exhilarating day on the slopes. The open living area with separate kitchen takes up the entire top floor, with exceptional mountain views from the floor to ceiling windows and a large balcony.

Staffed by the renowned team, Chalet Face has one the very best locations in Val d'Isere.


Families: Chalet Face for children

Children are expertly looked after by a qualified private nanny. Our handpicked childcare team are qualified professionals, whose enthusiasm and nurturing abilities are in abundance, so much so that both parents and children often ask to take them home. In Val d’Isère our chalet guests have the choice of a private nanny or our exclusive Explorers kids club .

We look after children from as young as four months, making sure the entire family has a relaxed, fun and memorable vacation. Our team organize age appropriate activities and can take the older ones to and from ski school, allowing you to spend all day on the slopes. A nutritious lunch is served each day, as well as healthy snacks, with any dietary requirements taken into account and your child’s routine will be strictly adhered to. We can also provide a wide range of equipment for babies and toddlers on request, including nappies and wipes, usually free of charge. And if you’d like to go out in the evening, we can provide babysitting.

Explorers kids club : Run by qualified nannies, our purpose built kids club in Val d’Isere is available exclusively to guests and is open seven days a week. Each day promises an imaginative and entertaining program of both indoor and outdoor activities, so parents can spend the day on the slopes knowing your children are in expert hands. Snacks and lunches are freshly made each day and we also operate a driver service that can take your children to and from ski school.

Private nanny : All our nannies are fully qualified (CACHE trained or similar) and are carefully selected for their natural ability with children and their nurturing and fun approach. We provide rigorous pre-season training which includes a paediatric first aid course, water safety and spending time with our chefs learning how to prepare nutritious snacks and lunches. Available for five days a week, they ensure your children enjoy a range of activities, whilst adhering to their home routines. They can also take children to, and collect from ski school each day.

Babysitting : Babysitting can be arranged in the evenings and is chargeable by the hour (€20 for the first hour, then €10 per hour until midnight, and €20 per hour thereafter).


Facilities: Chalet Face features

Chalet Face is a well appointed five bedroom chalet with an open living/dining room and separate, fully equipped kitchen. The TVs have the standard UK channels as well as ITVB, E4, CITV and CBeebies. Netflix and Apple TV are also available to connect to. There is a ski room on the ground floor and parking is available at the chalet.

All the bedrooms in Chalet Face are in similar in size, each with its own en-suite shower room and separate WC.

Room 2 : Located on the ground floor, this room can be made up as a double or twin and has its own en-suite shower room.

Room 3 : Located on the first floor, this room can be made up as a double or twin and has its own en-suite shower room.

Room 4 : Located on the first floor, this room can be made up as a double or twin and has its own en-suite shower room.

Room 5 : Located on the first floor, this room can be made up as a double or twin and has its own en-suite shower room. Separate WC.
