Location: where is Chalet Bouchot

Meribel is a large and scattered resort, don't be confused, there are many smaller villages such as La Gittaz, Raffort, Chandon and Les Allues, upto 6kms away, from the centre. This chalet is located in the centre, however the centre does not mean that the shops, bars and main lift area are all on your doorstep. All our chalets are located all round the resort centre, and only a ten minute or less walk to the shops and bars. The main lift area is slightly beyond this and although you could walk, there is no need as we operate a minibus service. The chalet is situated in a well know and popular area of chalets, it's a quiet area away from noise and traffic, but central enough to be a short walk to the centre. Our minibus service means that one of our drivers will take you from outside your chalet down to the main lift area and ski schools in the morning, its approximately a four minute ride, at the end of the day you can text your driver for a collection home, even from the Rond Point. It is less than a five minute walk to the shops and bars of an evening.

3 Valleys ski area Excellent ski schools Lively après ski

Meribel has a special place in many Brit's hearts – not simply because it’s right in the middle of the biggest ski area on Earth. A resort for long ski days, ski-boot-stomping après and cosy chalets, there’s a great deal to do and ski here, which is why many of us have been coming back for decades.

Meribel's location is tricky to beat, slap bang in the centre of the mammoth Three Valleys ski area. British made, and largely Brit run, it's a destination we flock to year after year for a homely atmosphere in a good looking resort with more than enough pistes for a week (or three). It's made up of a huddle of gorgeous hamlets, built in traditional wood and stone and surrounded by thick woodland. The main area is Meribel Centre (usually known just as Meribel). A traditional alpine village with choc-box chale...
Meribel is one of the best ski resorts to learn in. There are three beginner areas known as 'Ski Facile' (easy ski) plus great green pistes to practise on including Le Foret and Altiport. Both runs are carefully planned out so you can practice at your own pace in quiet surroundings. If you're skiing with children, there are fantastic ski schools and child-orientated areas, including animal sculptures scattered around the trees at the 'Pistes des Animaux' where children can learn about local wildlife as they e...
Whether your day on the hill leaves you wanting to relax with a vin chaud, have a pint and play pool, or party the night away, your time off the slopes can be as varied as the day spent cruising the incredible Trois Vallees. It's said that you haven't experienced après ski here (or anywhere for that matter) until you've sampled toffee vodka in Le Rond Point, which is easily one of the most famous après ski bars in the world - complete with a slide down to the toilets! Meribel's rightly famous for its nightl...

1st time in a catered chalet after doing self catering about 10times ... Was nervous about sharing with other guest (makes me sound selfish writing that) and was worried about the etiquette involved .. Went with my Wife and 2 boys (19 & 20) and from the minute we got there to the moment we left is was bliss ... Cannot fault the Chalet, The Staff nor the food ....... Only 1 minor complaint and that is I somehow put on 5lbs!! ... And the icing on the cake was the skiing in the 3 Valleys is stunning.

My Husband and I stayed in Chalet Bouchot with 4 friends and our 2 young children (aged 4 months and 2 3/4), so it could have been very stressful. But all the staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us, from the minute we arrived at the airport to when we left, in particular Tom - who is a credit to your company. Helping us with our luggage, tailoring a menu for our toddler and being very flexible around access to the kitchen. The chalet itself is stunning and very well equipped, the food was excellent and nice that it was local produce and freshly made each day. The minibus service was a really nice touch and our driver Rory was so helpful even picking us up with the buggy when we'd taken the girls out for a walk. A nanny (Nicole Wallbank) was recommended to us by the company and this really made our holiday as the girls took to her straight away and had such a lovely time.

we were looked after from the moment we arrived in the airport, coach transfer was good. The chalet itself was beautiful and clean, situated in a beautiful area which is around 15 mins walk from town. the rooms were always warm, the hot water in the shower was good and plentiful . the breakfast was very good every morning, different cakes in the afternoon and the five courses evening meal each night was different and consist of a great variety all of them were delicious and serve with good presentation. unlimited wines was served, and juice was offered for us as my partner does not drink. They also taken care of our special dietary requirement and offered great alternative options. We would like to thank and compliment our hosts Irina and Neil, they were professional, with great manner also very good companies to us. Irina helped us plan routes for skiing, the pair of them answer any questions we have and help us resolve any issue while our stay at the chalet. in this holiday the tour operator also offered a driver service, which we found it extremely convenient, we didn't have to carry the heavy skis and walk in ski boots. Every morning we were taking to the slope directly and picking up at the end of a long day. We would like to thank our driver Michael, he was always on time and very friendly. There were a few occasion where I needed some assistant, where the holiday rep Sophie and manager Ben attended our problems with a sense of urgency, I never had to chase things up. It was an unforgettable skiing holiday experience, I feel the company have great staff through out, they were fun people but work professionally and efficiently. We can just pack our bags and go, everything was arranged for us at our best interests seamlessly. Meribel was a great resort we love the ski areas and the lift system was reliable and fast. some areas which can be improve -the room we stayed in had good living space, but one of the twin room were quite small. -the sofa can be softer -the bed was comfortable, however the bed were on the small size and it does slide around a little. More steady beds and better mattress would really add value to the sleeping experience.
