Yes, Verbier may be pricey, but the fantastic skiing and overall experience will be unforgettable. The terrain is best suited to skiers looking to test their limits in the largest ski area in Switzerland, the 4 Valleys. Val Thorens, Tignes and Cervinia are also great options for early season skiing in December due to their high, snow-sure ski areas.

Look out for these events on your ski holiday in December:
